Glad that you do.

Glad that you do.
Interesting to note, nl0428. Perhaps I should draw inspiration from your extended editions for my Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows edit. 😉
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: The Taboo Cut (title pending)
A fanedit of the final two films in the 8-part Harry Potter saga that condenses Parts 1&2 into a more streamlined, action-packed, epic finale to The Boy Who Lived’s emotional journey.
More details to come! 😉
Try to add in the black suit for Superman and try to repurpose dialogue from the Justice League Unlimited Darkside, maybe use footage from Injustice or Young Justice as a sort of pre-beginning monologue where he states his dire plans for earth.
Thanks, Lord Zerome! I’ll certainly look into that! 😊
Well done on creating the thread on OriginalTrilogy.com! I surely anticipate your forthcoming edits to inspire my own take on streamlining Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows! 😄
Thank you, brother! Greatly appreciated!
Yes, PoA and HBP are next. They are both being worked on and have come a fair bit of way.
A fair bit of way, you say. 😃
Congratulations on completing a year’s worth of work, brother! I believe Revisteds for PoA and HBP are next? 😃
Thought I’d take a break from my Batman Forever Noir edit to talk about my idea for a Justice League re-edit.
It’s called Justice League: World Without Hope. The basic premise: Superman is the symbol of hope. And a world without Superman is a world without hope.
The main goal for this edit is a simple one: darken and serious-ify (Thanks, Dixon!) the film to fit the characterisation entablished in Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, thus making it a worthy end to the Zack Snyder trilogy.
A changelog will be posted soon. Please feel free to leave any suggestions and ideas in the comments below! ^^
Abandoned?! 😮
Hmm, I wonder how this is going now…
What an interesting thread. I am aware this workprint includes the original shot of Alec being shot in the head during the prologue.
they had to trim that shot because the MPAA would have given Goldeneye an R Rating. Screw the MPAA!!! This also happened with the Decompression Chamber Scene in License To Kill upon it’s release in 1989 , but fortunately it was restored on the Ultimate Edition DVD and the BD!!
I know how you feel, mate.
FINAL UPDATE
It’s done!
Consider this my last & final take on BF just until the official Director’s Cut gets green lited & released then i’ll come back & re-do everything with the new footage.
Oh, praise the Lord! 😄
What an interesting thread. I am aware this workprint includes the original shot of Alec being shot in the head during the prologue.
Have you released it in full yet?
Not yet, mate. But I will, eventually. 😉
NOTE:
I just realised I screwed up on the password for the last video. It’s ‘batman’, not ‘team-up’. Apologies! 😛
all but the last one worked .I like the black and white noir look , also reminds me of Metropolis wwith the city scapes . some of the goofiness of the theatrical version still comes through though .If It were me doing this edit , I would completely change the musical score to something more ominous and dark to help balance it out more
That’s exactly what I’m going to do. I’ll be using Elfman and Zimmer tracks as the new soudntrack, with additional compositions by James Newton Howard and Tom Holkenborg a.k.a. Junkie XL. I just need some advice on which tracks would be most fitting to certain scenes. Any at all would be greatly appreciated. 😃
password for viewing the clips ? looks very interesting , and I like how you are toning down the character of Two Face . They made him seem too much like the Joker in the theatrical release and the character was never meant to be that goofy .
Agreed, Password!
Right then! ^^
Clip #1 - forever
Clip #2 - two-face
Clip #3 - chase
Clip #4 - team-up
I hope I’m not wrong. 😃
QUICK UPDATE:
Here’s a potential DVD cover for the edit:

Rotoscoping? 😛
Watching your cut right now, and so far it’s your crowning achievement of awesome! The way you edited around the opening scene, Penguin biting the guy’s nose, Selina’s resurrection and Batman finding Shreck’s corpse is seamless in many ways! Well done! 😄
Plus, it’s nearing October, which means we’ll be seeing an update on Batman Forever: The Tim Burton Cut shortly! And maybe, just maybe, you could think over your doing an “editor’s cut” of BF. 😃
Overall, I give your edit a 9/10. Keep it up! ^^
Thx m8! ^^
Much interest
Thanks for the kind feedback, Dixon. Much appreciated. 😃
Hold on, Returns had a different timeline as well?
Yeah after reading the script a few scenes were switched around for some odd reason but i fixed it in my cut.
Ah, I see. Plus, I see you’ve found some deleted/alternate scenes from the promo material and BTS documentaries. 😃
Hold on, Returns had a different timeline as well?
Yes. Do you have a copy?
Not quite, but I know a few people on the Workprint Collectors page on Facebook who are looking for it with me…
…and a fellow named Robert Bolton.
