It’s between good and great.
It’s between good and great.
Oh my god what have you #pigmen done to my thread?
They choked it up. Or maybe not.
Lol. Someone, give us a truly random thought to Heimlich this shit.
I found a solution
Luckily the Blu-Ray reverts to the original poster art, but still:
But that’s only the appetizer, it’s now time to go bananas:
Some DeLaurentiis Kong madness, the R1 is bad:
Albeit not as much as:

And then there’s the sequel…
Have a nice day!
Alas, a GOOD King Kong cover???

is there a thread about good DVD/Blu-Ray cover art?
I thought this was worse. Granted, haven’t seen the others in along time. Right from the beginning, not just the CG characters, but also the sets (like, PT-level). You couldn’t find a real, brick-lined street anywhere to film it?
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them - cool movie, had the potential to be the best Harry Potter franchise movie, but failed because of a confusing plot. I really liked the characters and the part of the story where they’re looking for the lost creatures in New York, and really liked the chemistry between the characters. Unfortunately I didn’t like the Obscurus part of the plot, and honestly it felt like it belonged in a completely different movie, given the huge tone discrepancy between it and the other subplots.
Edit: I liked how it portrayed the US as super conservative 😉
That, and the whole movie looked like a cartoon.
Pizza’s on the way…
I used to think the probe-droid in ESB kept saying “needing assistance”. It’s just electronic gibberish, but I still think it sounds kind if similar.
“in need of assistance” is what i still hear to this day. even though i know it isn’t that.
Thanks. Now it will be like Stairway to Heaven backwards. With that expectation in my head, it will be obvious that’s what he’s saying!
When I first saw Star Wars, I thought that Storm Troopers were ‘junior’ Darth Vaders, and figured that if they got more experienced and moved up the chain, they would be promoted to Darth Vader and get the black suit.
Whoa boy. Cool off. Nothing personal.
I do wonder why Hyperspace collisions don’t happen more often though.
Certainly not Tesla autopilot 😛
Leia was ostensibly not there yet, either. Organa says that he’ll send for someone he “trusts with his life.” Maybe she rendezvoused with him at the base and loaded up the droids before docking with Raddus. Or, the Tantive was sent to pick her up with the droids in tow.
It does feel like something was missing around this part. Yes we don’t see this rendevouz? And what i am saying is because the blockade runner was put inside Raddus ship it feels like we are missing a scene or most likely a different version played out differently.
I doubt you will see stuff like this happen in Han Solo though it seems as though from reports they reshot 80% of the film.
I didn’t say something was missing. I said there are multiple ways it could’ve played out consistent with the plots of both SW and RO! The absence of such a scene is not a problem. There is no inconsistency.

An FYI for any interested parties: Dunkirk Blu-Ray is on sale for $10 at Amazon
Lol EU.
Lol indeed.
Reason number 1,475 canon is dumb:
Phrases like “bleeding crystal.”
lol yes.
Reason 1,476: “living crystal.”
Reason number 1,475 canon is dumb:
Phrases like “bleeding crystal.”
Why?
It means taking a living crystal that has already bonded with a Jedi and forcing your will onto it, and “bleeding” it in the process, turning it red. Apparently all Sith must earn their sabers by killing a Jedi and stealing their crystal.

But nope. Red = bad & everything else = good for stupid EU reasons.
“you’ve constructed a new lightsaber. Your skills are now complete. Now join me, throw this away, and build a red one.”
Why am I reading this…
I wonder how Frink is doing with this EU talk poisoning his thread.
Cool. I’m sure that’s what George was thinking when he wrote ANH.
This was the best answer you could’ve possibly given.
I think a lot of the hyperspace complication has to do with justifying quick travel across distances of multiple light years. But for God sake, they call it light speed in the movies. I find the scientific inaccuracies charming. Star Wars isn’t PBS NOVA.

The person responsible should be forced to watch the Tim Burton remake on a loop.
That movie’s so bad, simply making him watch the opening shot of Mark Wahlberg crashing in the Apraham Simian memorial just once should be sufficient punishment.
