I think vinyl sounds better but I don’t think it’s because of lossy vs lossless, I just think the medium inherently sounds better. It might even be LESS accurate, but it has more “pop” to it. The drums seem to kick harder, the guitars sound sharper, orchestra instruments have more fine detail, etc.

Finally had a chance to listen to the whole album, having only previously heard the hit single “What Do All the People Know?” And holy cow, it’s fantastic! Shame it’s been out of print for more than 30 years. They deserve more fame.

Sort of. It’s not terribly important, but it’s annoying in a way that’s hard to ignore.

Right. Inconsequential to the story throughout the movie. But a major, MAJOR eye roll at the end.
