VHS>GOUT
You’re really going to have to tell us why. There is no reason why this could plausibly be the case.

To be fair, nothing happened in the trailer… save for the cackling
I could’ve waited another year maybe, I’ll give you that.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker
Yeah, those are real stinkers.
Oh, get on with it already!
Episode IX: The Entire Cast Fell into a Wormhole to 1983 and watched the OUT Together
I’d watch it!

Anatomy of a Murder
Good stuff.
On another note, can we add an explicit no spoiler designation to the title for safety?
^ It’s going to be difficult to do that mate - the Episode IX title (and also the poster for IX) isn’t really a spoiler.
The name of it will be all over the mainstream news, tv, radio, internet - as of whenever it’s announced during the Celebration Panel for Episode IX (today at 11am CDT?).
Tomorrow there’ll be posters for it in public places and on adverting hoardings etc - there’ll likely be no escape from it.
I mean can we make it clear that there are no plot spoilers/leak discussion in this thread when we talk about the title.
I.e., can we add “NO SPOILERS” to the thread title.
I’m not trying to stay pure until I read the title in the opening crawl haha
Lol, if someone is going to troll the world and make up a title, they should have tried.

You’re cruel !
Even if the official title is A New Hope, most people still know it as simply Star Wars.
Also, woo, I pretty much nailed the “official” trapezoid logo with ANH subtitle for my custom covers long before it became “official!” 😛
Actually, most my friends call it “4.”
Maybe I should find new friends.
That wordmark was also used on trilogy packaging in the past too, so there is precedent for it being used subtitled.
That’ll be on every package and icon for posterity, unfortunately.
What do you mean by that?

Anyone want to over-analyze their choice of thumbnail art for SW77 with me?
Way ahead of you 😉

Only two more days till an answer might arrive.
Any reason you’ve chosen Saturday in particular of all days of the convention?
I will accept my punishment with grace and gratitude.

Meh. I prefer to place my hope in things that matter.
Like grammar? 😛
Exactly. Implications for the viewer as in ruining suspense of the grand reveal in Jedi.
My dad, who is hardly a SW fan, recalls how the reveal of Jabba was such a big deal and everyone was talking about Jabba when ROTJ came out (he was in college in 83).
IIRC, they were only shown at Celebration. A couple other shots were slightly altered, like a view of the Trade Federation ships over Naboo.
The OT has yet to be screened, if their conversions were finished at all. Some of the changes seen on Blu-Ray, (like all the new gizmos popping out of Artoo when he’s shot in ROTJ) were apparently to enhance the 3D effect.
Don’t forget about the rocks.
TLJ, Solo, RO, and TFA have all been on Netflix at one point or another.
The only Star Wars content on Netflix are The Clone Wars (both the movie and show), The Last Jedi and Rogue One. They’re going to be leaving Netflix very soon since Disney+ is launching this Fall.
Just saying it is not necessarily true that they can’t be on streaming and cable simultaneously.
