I get the impression that the show didn't originally have the Ali Larter character when it was created. Her story seems to have no connection with the rest, and sort of meanders around aimlessly. I have a feeling that the NBC network execs thought they needed a sexy female lead on the show, so the writer's just sort of threw her character together.

This show is completely amazing. I highly recommended it. It is a weekly serial, so you have to make sure you are able to watch every episode in order, because if you miss one you'll be screwed. But I am really enjoying it, even though the week long wait between episodes always feels like an eternity. My favorite characters right now are Hiro and Sylar.

Also, as far as the NGE Instrumental Extras, I found a new translator, hopefully this one won't stiff me like the last one did. They are currently working on some other project, but estimate that they can start mine sometime in mid-March. That said, I would expect an April/May release for the Instrumental Extras. Here's hoping...

When you watch the second season, more specifically the final two episodes, you will understand why this edit was created. The "depth" that you speak of is thrown to the wind. The device of her time limit is not used at the end, mostly because (I believe) the writers had written themselves into a corner and could not figure out what to do. And the final episode is pretty gut wrenching, as well as INCREDIBLY lazily written. I like to say it was a big "Fuck You" from Gainax to the fans. They switched genres completely. You have no idea what happened to all but three of the characters. Nothing at all is explained. And those who showed development throughout the series revert back to they way they used to be in the beginning. Since you haven't seen it all, I won't spoil it by divulging the details of WHY I think it is pure shit, but believe me it is a HORRIBLE ending. Not just because it's sad (and certainly the saddest ending in anime history), but just because it was so terribly/lazily written that it is a piece of shit.

The ending was begging to be changed. Some fans were pretty devastated by the ending. At the very least, this will be a way to rewatch Mahoromatic without having to re-experience that godawful ending. It's to give it the proper ending it deserves.

What I'd really like is for someone to watch these movies that I'm making without ever having seen the series and comment on it.

A slightly tweaked version has been uploaded. Apparently, a couple of stray frames made their way into the final edit, which was not supposed to happen. Those have since been corrected. If you already have this, and the extra frames don't bother you, then there's no need to download this. If they did bother you, or you haven't picked this up yet, now is the time.

I'll probably only seed it a couple more weeks.

The funny thing about "The Island" is that it is a remake of a really shitty old movie called "Parts: The Clonus Horror" which was actually so bad it was featured on MST3K! I saw "The Island" and did kind of like it, but, having seen "Parts" first, you can definitely see the parts they stole. Aside from "The Rock" this is the only Michael Bay movie I can stomach.

Mahoromatic Limitless Volume 1 of 3

One of Gainax’s often overlooked shows is Mahoromatic. Personally, I found the show to be amazing, EXCEPT the ending was completely terrible. I couldn’t think of a worse way to end a series. Well, I’ve decided to create a rebuild of Mahoromatic in the form of films. The episodes have been spliced together into films to give a slightly different version of Mahoromatic. One that won’t leave you disappointed at the end. Here are just a few the things to expect:

All references to Mahoro’s life span removed.
All references to Management removed.
Ryuga will remain Mahoro’s final enemy.

—Mahoromatic Automatic Maiden: Limitless Volume 1—

In the hidden war against the alien invaders of Saint, mankind has been saved countless times by an android named Mahoro. Out of gratitude for her deeds, the earth-defense force Vesper offers Mahoro the chance to fulfill any dream she desires. All she’s ever wanted was to live a normal life. So what’s an android to do?

Enter Suguru, a young orphan with an extremely messy house, who hires Mahoro on as a maid. Poor Suguru has no idea about Mahoros past life, or her deep connection to him. But hes not one to complain as Mahoro moves in, causing suspicion from his friends, and jealousy from his home-room teacher. Now Suguru just has to deal with the fact that his beautiful 19-year old maid is really a combat android!

The film is presented in English and Japanese 2.0 with full subtitles as well as text only subtitles.

Gundam is pretty decent, but I always felt was a little lacking in depth. It's like every series has to be 50 episodes long so they unnecessarily stretch them out. But I've only seen two of the series, so I may have no idea what I'm talking about.

Other mecha series that are interesting and worth checking in to are: Giant Robo, Evangelion, RahXephon, Escaflowne, and Gunbuster.

Wow, once again your covers amaze me. I noticed two things, though, that need fixing:
1) War of the Worlds says "Extenctive" on the front and should read "Extinctive" it was ok on the disc art
2) Tomorrow Never Dies says, "Languist" and should read "Linguist" instead.

I seriously hope the Saints lose. So just because the city was destroyed in a natural disaster, now they are "America's team"? Would they have been "America's team" if they weren't good this year? I kinda doubt it. Go Bears!

They are definitely very good, and well worth the money. If watching them tires you out, do what I do: watch one disc every day. This will take six days, but you are only watching a two hour movie a night. It's a very cool way to do it. I've seen the theatrical versions twice and the extended versions twice. I have to say that the extended versions are indeed better.

Kracker, the back side of the case, at the top it should read "Until" and not "Untill." Also, the very last line looks like "Butthe" and probably was just a typo for "But the" I hope this helps.
