Info: SW/Hasbro.com Voting Chamber - vote for Motti!!
Time

Hey guys, the poll is up for the Fan’s Choice #6 figure. The chosen figure will be released in this fall’s line. And one of our own is in the poll… Admiral Motti!!!

We need this figure… and now.

Here are the current results…

R2-D2 with holographic Princess Leia: 15%
Admiral Motti : 17%
Ree-Yees : 12%
Death Star Trooper : 6%
Han Solo in Stormtrooper Disguise (from 2001 Trash Compactor Scene Pack): 24%
Imperial Scanning Crew Trooper (from Millennium Falcon Carrying Case): 25%

Yes, he’s a bit behind, but with some concentrated votes, we can get Motti immortalized in plastic forever!

Why doesn't Lucus just release both versions?

Holy crap, I didn't know Kenner did that! I've never heard anyone tell me about them replacing broken toys. Considering the popularity and extreme play-value of SW figures and vehicles (not a single SW toy of mine from back then survived unscathed) they would have went bankrupt if everyone had their broken toys replaced though I suppose. Bummer.

You would think it would kill them. And perhaps it did play its part in the downfall of Kenner (that and constantly rehashing molds for other series (anyone recall how the Ewok Village was used for the Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves toys?). But, being a kid and as hard on SW toys as I was, the fact that Kenner did this was quite welcomed by me and my parents and we took advantage of it at every turn. The other great thing about it is that most of the time that I was playing with SW toys was while I was living in Kentucky and Kenner was just up north of the river in Ohio. Turnaround on replacing toys was next to nothing. They would even send you boxed up new versions. I loved that company.

Geez, this for the woman who pulled you out of school to just to catch the first showing of ROTJ? For shame.
At least give her a plastic bag in case it rains.

I figured I'd spite her and give her a cardboard box from the Millennium Falcon toy.

DON'T GET TECHNICAL WITH ME
Time
Yes, but my checking account doesn't. We hardly go online from home and when we do, it's to check e-mail. So why pay for it? We might do so when we actually get a desktop computer. Right now, we've just got a laptop and we can hookup anywhere we want because we have phone jacks in every room (save for the bathroom). If we get Cable, we suddenly have to tote another piece of hardware and not every room in our apartment even has a cable connection to use. DSL is not available where we live. Not yet at least.
