Any Beatles Fans Here?
Time
I was a Lennon junkie in college. But, overall, I'd say my fave solo Beatle is Stuart Sutcliffe. Just kidding. Actually, I really dig George Harrison's solo work.

I love the Beatles and have several of their albums at home on vinyl. I find vinyl to be the only real way to listen to them. I only have Past Masters, vol. 2 on CD. Vinyl I have Abbey Road (my personal fave), Meet the Beatles, the blue (1967-70) and red (1962-66) hits albums, and Let it Be.

Time
I enjoyed Titanic the first couple of times I saw it. But I have had absolutely no desire to see it since that time. It's one of those good one-time-only flicks.

Have never had the desire to see The Sound of Music. Sorry Sweyland. I'm sure I will sometime, just not a priority.

And, yes, inflation is of course a huge factor in this list. Gone With The Wind would still be the #1 flick of all time if inflation didn't exist. Considering there are still theaters throughout the south that play that movie year round (I mean that literally) and the fact that tickets to see GWTW were only a dime when it first came out... well, you do the math.

I dunno that I would call it unfortunate either although I do find it to be complete BS. This sort of censorship should not exist. Period. End of quote.

Batman Begins... see the Batman thread in off topic. It is the next movie.

And yes, Damn Janet. This threat of censorship has existed in the U.S. for decades. They (the FCC) have been getting either progressively better about it or more lazy (view it however you like) as time has gone on. But it was just a matter of time before something set the FCC off again and forced them into the role of Free Speech Nazis. Every performer in the U.S. knows this. So I blame her for setting off their little Obscenity Detectors.

Top Grossing Films of All Time
Time
Okay people, this thread is dedicated to the top 100 grossing films of all time (U.S. domestic figures only, sorry). Bear in mind that the page attached to this link is updated weekly so, if you mention a film's ranking, it can easily change...

Top 100 Grossing Films in U.S.

My question is, how many of these have you seen? Which ones have you not seen?

I can say I've seen all but four of them...

The Passion of the Christ (currently listed as #46, but quickly moving up the chart)
Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (now #79)
The Waterboy (#97)
The Sound of Music (#99)

Is that just sad or what?
