Count me among the Khan supporters. That was a spectacular ST film. The best of the bunch. You had a very well-defined evil vs. good conflict. You had terror. Human emotion. The works.

Does that include the additional figures that were made in the Power of the Force series that were released in '85? That seemed to be a bulk of the catch-all figures. This was where you would find the Luke in Stormtrooper disguise.

I will rent it and that's about it. Already in my Netflix queue. I own a copy of the OT DVD's remastered from the laser discs and I love 'em. The guy who made them for me did a great job. What I really love is that my primary DVD player is not DVD-R compatible, but it plays these DVD-Rs without a problem. Go fig. And I was gonna play them through my PS2. No need anymore.

Nope, it was about three weeks ago. We've been having a discussion about how his site is now down and we're saying that Lucas shut him down to shut him up. Posted stuff about how Jabba, as a gangster leader, would never do his own dirty work and other posts.

In most cases, I would be inclined to say that this thread should stick to real women, however, that pencil drawing had to have a model to be that perfect looking. And that model is definitely a stunner.

Hey guys, just wanted to note that Shrek 2 has now officially passed TPM to become the fourth highest grossing movie of all time.

1 Titanic $600,788,188
2 Star Wars $460,998,007
3 E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial $434,949,459
4 Shrek 2 $432,493,392
5 Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace $431,088,295

While it isn't grossing nearly as much as it was a few weeks back, in a week or two, it should pass E.T. for the #3 spot.

Think Spielberg will rerelease E.T. again to bring it's total gross up enough to reclaim #3? Or was his humbling at the last theatrical release of E.T. enough to discourage him from doing it again?

I'm on the side of both Luke and Jimbo, I loved Stitch. I won't call it a masterpiece (as Sleeping Beauty will always be the masterpiece work of the Disney animated collection), but it was given the critical and popular shaft in theaters. It was a damn good movie that really should be given a chance.

Stitch with four lightsabers. Now that's a dangerous thought!

Other characters I like...

Stewie Griffin (they're making an action figure of him and I'm all over it)

Blain from Predator ("I ain't got time to bleed")

I dunno anything about Dr. Who aside from they are supposedly starting it up again with Christopher Eccleston (28 Days Later) in the title role.

I'll be renting Sliders. I watched it on occasion when it was on the air originally. Don't know enough about it to want to own it, yet.
