I somehow doubt that would happen. Powell has been pissing off many Republicans lately with his willingness to say that they were wrong regarding Iraq. Democrats might welcome him with open arms, but that doesn't mean he would do it. I always felt Powell should have been the candidate in 2000. Barack Obama might be the first black pres candidate we see if the Dems continue to groom him the way they have been.

It's a book that came out a couple years ago about a little girl who's kidnapped, taken into a corn field, and then raped, tortured, and killed. The rest of the book is told from her point of view in heaven as she watches everyone below cope with her death and the police's inability to find her killer.

Alter Bridge has a pretty decent singer. However, Open Your Eyes isn't that spectacular a song. You should listen to the rest of the album. It's good to hear Mark Tremonti rocking out again. After Creed hit it big with Arms Wide Open, they went the wuss rock route. That's why Weathered sucked so bad. That and Scott Stapp is a whiny little hypocritical bitch. With Alter Bridge, Tremonti and the bassist and drummer from Creed get to actually play again. Here's hoping Stapp never gets a performing gig again.

Cubbies have won 8 of their last 9 and are on a five game winning streak. Overall they are 71-56, in second place NL Central, and are first place in the Wild Card race.

Phillies. The are 3-7 in their last ten, on a three-game losing streak, and have a 62-65 overall record in third place in the NL East. Sixth place in the Wild Card race.

I had to bring this thread back to life because I just saw a trailer on TV today for it (the film was pushed back like four months) and it looks like they dropped the sepia tone and have colorized it. It's an oversaturated colorization but it's colorized all the same. Man, I was looking forward to the sepia tone version of the film. Am I crazy? Does anyone else remember the old trailer? I'm ticked.

Both work for me. Good choices, Sean. Breakfast Club is great because of the uniting of different types of students against a common enemy. Ferris Bueller, on the other hand, is just a great break-out-of-the-normal-societal-bonds type of movie. Plus, it is one of the most quotable movies of all time.

Funny thing is Courage, that I just watched Comic Book: The Movie two days ago. Not too bad at all. Not the best, but still pretty damned good. Loved Donna D'errico's Liberty Lass outfit. Ouch.

Well what's cool about the violet saber is that it is a transition color between blue and red. It could be used as symbolic of Dooku's turn from the Jedi (blue) to the Sith (red). Wouldn't that be a completely appropriate use of symbolism?
