Oh, you sorry, unlucky, bastard. I truly feel for you. I'd start a new profile over there if I were you. Actually, if I were really you, I wouldn't be posting there anymore anyway.

the titles on the forum?!

When the forum first started, the levels were pretty low. Until Dayv, Gundark, Luke, Motti, and I came along and started posting like mad. Jay had to up the numbers so we wouldn't run through all the levels too quickly. Then, we had him add in the Jedi Spirit level just about half a year ago as the "ultimate goal" on this thread. I'm not sure if any of us really thought it to be attainable. Motti and I have proven otherwise, though.

But I would argue that what Microsoft does is far truer to capitalism than what Lucas is doing. Microsoft, by making things work only in certain ways so that you need to make upgrades and buy new software is truly capitalizing on us. If Lucas were to really want to capitalize on the situation, he would release both sets and have us all buy one or the other or, preferably to him, both.

Kevin Smith question

I would sure as hell hope it's not anti-KS or I've been in the wrong place for the last year and a half. And I agree that I think he's too busy to do any of this stuff. However, some of his fellow Askewers (like Ming) would likely have the time to do it. Anything's a possibility. Hey, the name MagnoliaFan works, too, if you know your J&SBSB references.

Class Action lawsuit?!?
Time
No flaming here, Lethe. I'm just thankful someone interpreted this thread the way it was meant to be.

Jeez.

Liondagger, I can say, with no question whatsoever, that Gundark and I got what you were shooting. Maybe our follow up comments could be misinterpreted by someone with an blinder-obscured agenda, and for that I apologize. But note that none of us really intended to try to file a CAL.

Capitan, one last point. Okay, yes, you did say you never interpreted our "threat" of filing a class action lawsuit as serious. But, if we never intended to file a lawsuit, why would we be discussing it seriously? Wouldn't that very fact imply that this was just a curiosity issue or a joke?

Class Action lawsuit?!?

Capitan,

There you go assuming again. I'm not going into law. I'm taking Bizlaw with the emphasis being on "Biz" or "business".

To emphasize, since you don't seem to get the point and think you know what I meant more than I do, I never wanted to start a class action lawsuit. I liked the idea so that I could research it and use it as a basis for asking my instructor a question or two about the legitimacy of such a thing (unfortunately, my instructor had a family emergency and wasn't in class to ask). He likes hypotheticals, as do I. How often do you have a chance to bring up a hypothetical like "can fans sue a director to make a copy of his movie available that has already been previously released and is part of the public consciousness?" How often does that chance come up?

Do you really think I would want to spend my money to file a class action lawsuit against a man who could have so many lawyers tackle it and quash it faster than Miyagi's grape?

So, unless you actually are me and I just don't know it thereby giving you some special insight into my thought process, I have three words for you... Get a clue.
