I'm not quite sure about DVD regions. But the different types of VHS players (PAL, SECAM, NTSC) exist because of the differing electrical currents in different countries. The currents, as I'm told, can cause a slight speed difference in the rotation rate of the heads and the different players compensated for it. I could be completely off base in what I'm saying. It's just how I understood it.

Here I thought Jake Lloyd was thinking, "yeah, I'm the next Jack Black."

The actors did get together from what I've heard. As were the 3PO and R2 costumes. Some of the others may have been digitally inserted like Jar Jar and Grievous.

The thing I noticed that I found funny was that you see the OT characters congregate at the end opposite GL. While GL populates his immediate vicinity with PT characters and OT characters that cannot talk back (puppets, costumes, etc.). Think this is any show of animosity between GL and his OT cast?

Haven't seen them in regular stores like Best Buy and Circuit City, sorry. Also likely to be a special order. Instead of multi region, you might have to look for region free. But, again, not regularly stocked in electronics stores stateside.

Smits was in L.A. Law and NYPD Blue and is playing Senator Bail Organa in the SW PT. He had a cameo in AOTC and has a much bigger part in ROTS.

Colorblind people don't see B&W, they mix colors... green/orange colorblindness is a common one.

I can't say I've ever heard of a case of someone only able to see in B&W. Animals on the other hand...

Michelle Rodriguez. And she's the epitome of modern tough girl. Also did an indie flick called Girlfight in which she's a boxer and she does so very convincingly. Yes, she's a bad ass.

Ewan McGregor, Hayden, George, Natalie, Yoda, Darth, R2, 3PO, Samuel, Jar Jar, Jimmy Smits, Christopher Lee, Liam, dunno (woman seated), dunno (guy in white T-shirt.. Jake Lloyd, maybe?), Ian McDiarmid, Grievous, Billy Dee Williams (where's the Colt .45?), Carrie, Harrison, Chewie, and Mark.

Is the seated woman in the middle the one that plays Shmi Skywalker?

Very true. I had a friend with a pretty high IQ in high school. Got a full-ride National Merit Semifinalist scholarship to Bowling Green State Univ in Ohio. I think the transformation effect only really works when you use an unknown actress. Then you're seeing her for the first time and it can be stunning even if she normally is cute and is "uglied up" for the pre-transformation portion of the movie.

But, then again, even this tends to be ruined by movie trailers.
