Star Wars: A New Hope - The Darklighter Cut (Released)
Time

Updated version of the Biggs reunion with the audio sync fixed and the 2nd guy to walk past is now changed to an X-Wing pilot. I think he might stand out too much, but let me know what you think.

The two things that scene needs are a landspeeder and sound. I did a draft of it, but I have a better plan. I just need to figure out how to execute it.

Do you mind sharing your ideas?

in the rinzler ebook is a file called vid11_SWGagReel_001_ProRes.
there is a landspeeder scene only with luke you can use.

It was too low-res to crop down, but I did end up using that same shot earlier on

Great work, though the speeder is going in the wrong direction. Based on the woman’s reaction, it should be coming toward the camera.

Ah crud, and after all that time I spent masking it out. I realised my mistake as I uploaded it. Is there any other shots of a speeder approching the camera?

A basic edit of A New Hope to include the deleted Biggs Darklighter scene back to where they originally were in the fourth draft shooting script. The scenes are pretty dirty and as I have no clue on how to clean them up, I’ll dirty the main source to match them. The main source itself is the Silver Screen Edition 1.6, which will eventually be degraded somehow. Suggestions on how to do that are welcome.

 • Added Luke working on a mosture evaporator and seeing the Tatntive IV being boarded
 • Added Luke almost running over an old lady in Anchorhead on his way to the Toche Station
 • Added Luke and his friends at the station and him showing the battle, which they dismiss
 • Added Luke and Biggs talking about joining the rebellion
 • Added extended version of Red Leader talking about Luke’s father
 • Added Luke saying “Biggs? BIGGS!” over the radio after he gets shot down

I’ve done colour corrections on the scenes to remove the yellow tint over them, but have no clue on how to clean them up. Suggestions also welcome.

Here with the old lady scene, I masked out the landspeeder from the approch to Mos Eisley, took out R2 and C-3PO and placed it over the scene. I think it needs her saying something, probably just some angry gibberish, but anything will do.

And here is the transision into Biggs and Luke talking outside of the Toche Station with a line from the radio drama and a shot from The Making of Star Wars. I’ll eventually replace it when the documentary is scanned by Poita, but for now it’ll do

4K77 - Released
Time

The DNR-Versions are now up on Mega and Zippyshare. There is a smaller 7gb version on Mega with the extras and subtitles, while the uncompressed 42gb version is in 82 500mb chunks on Zippyshare. (jDownloader is the reccomended program to download it with)

As usual you can PM me to snag these files, as long as you own Star Wars in some shape or form. (Pog form is acceptable)

Star Wars Documentaries on Film to be scanned. Donations welcome. (a WIP)
Time

It’s a short little mockumentary about a fitionalised version of how Warwick Davis got the role of Wicket in ROTJ. Mostly just has him goofing around the set. A highlight in the film was Boba Fett chasing Wicket around the Death Star.

The full thing was only 25 minutes and never officially released but a version combining the best sources was made by Garrett Gilchrist (aka OCPMovie of Star Wars: Deleted Magic) and SKot Kirkwood.

Help Wanted: 'Jurassic Park: The Lost World' - Extended Cut 1080p - will anyone do this?

I don’t think they included more than those two deleted scenes on a DVD edition and then discarded them for others. Unless anyone can confirm that more deleted scenes exist in the UK double disc box set from 2000, we have no way of knowing.

I have an Australian double pack with some deleted scenes in it. Most likely the same as this UK one. I can check if its desired.

Restoring the wondrously disastrous Star Wars Holiday Special (Released)

This may stray beyond preservation into fan-edit territory, so I apologize in advance, but would it be possible to insert Duel of the Fates when the hologram circus comes out? I also felt that scene could be more impactful with better music.

I have no idea why you think out of all scenes that the Hologram Circus one was needing to be more impactful or that Duel of the Fates was the track of choice. But I made it for some reason and boy howdy does Duel of the Fates not fit at all.
Maybe we should add Binary Sunset to the cooking show sequence so that it really resonates with audiences. Or perhaps The Asteroid Field over the Mini-transmitter Instructional Video to increase the tension. The possibilities are endless!

Star Wars saga - Extra Extended Edition (1080p) (* unfinished project / WIP *)
Time

TMBTM did a great job of inserting deleted material in his War of the Stars edit by using Puggo Grande as the main source and further dirtying the deleted footage which is a hell of easier than making it standup next to the Blu-Ray footage. Personally I think Puggo Grande may be too dirty to enjoy for the majority, maybe the SSE or 4K77 with some added scratches and dirt.

Alternate Biggs Reunion Edit
Time

Something I tried to do with the alternate Biggs reunion from the first Star Wars. Since the released scene is strangly edited and fades out early, it’s hard to get it right. But what I’ve done here is add a guy walking in front of the camera to attempt to cover the cut. it needs some tinkering, but its alright looking. They actually did this in the 2011 BR to remove the line if you look close enough its noticeable.
