The first time I saw the screenshots of the new Emperor and Anakin at the end of ROTJ, I believed them both to be just "photoshopped" pics made by fans, either as hoaxes, silly speculation or some fanboyish/fangirlish wishes.
I thought the Emperor pic must have been a fan in a rubber mask, as it did not look enough like the Emperor in ROTJ.

Everyone talks about the Anakin at the end of ROTJ, but it seems like the new emperor in ESB is forgotten about. Why did they do such a lousy job with him? Did the make-up artist ever even see ROTJ? The emperor in the new ESB scene (and ROTS) looks nothing like he does in ROTJ.

Star Wars DVD Covers
Time
Well I dont care what other people think, Falle....I LOVE THEM.

I dont really like these movies, but I must say seeing these covers makes me want to go watch them.

Would it be possible to have a version with textless/generic front. I am thinking about using these covers for the ADigitalMan edits of the prequels...and if need be, I could snatch the backs off of boba feta's covers and make my own hybrid cover. If its textless...I could probably go through the trouble of finding the logos for the edits and adding them myself.

hope that made sense.

Honestly guys...just ignore this troll.

I enjoy posting here because the boards are full of friendly people that (for the most part) respect other peoples' opinions, likes, and dislikes.

On top of that, we have many fans here that are exceptionaly skilled in technical areas, such as video editing, DVD authoring, sound mixing/editing, etc. The list goes on. If for no other reason at all, I would come here to see what other projects these talented individuals are working on and hopefully learn a thing or two from them.

6) I don't see any reason why Tattoine shoulnd't celebrate the return of democracy to the galaxy.

To quote Chefelf:

"Political inner-workings aside, the end of Return of the Jedi: Special Edition presents us with a rather silly montage that shows celebrations on various planets ten minutes after the Death Star blows up. We get to see Tatooine, which never fell under the direct jurisdiction of the Republic or the Empire, celebrate with great joy. It must be very rewarding for them to know that there will now be another new government that will ignore it and allow its human slavery trade to continue, unhindered by meddling politicians and their silly laws."

Star Wars: Classic Edition by Ocpmovie (Released)
Time
I really dont see why these were taken down.

I know Myspleen has fan edits, etc. of commercially available stuff. I dont see where this is any different.

You could just find someone else on Myspleen with uploader status to re-upload the torrents.

I'm sure if you mention it on the forums there you could find someone. The fact that these collectively have been downloaded hundreds (thousands?) of times...you cant say there isnt a demand for this.

Heres the problem with your logic-

Somebody could have said, "...He cant call it the Twentieth Anniversary set if it doesnt have the film that was made 20 years ago, right?"

And because we thought that way....we got stuck with the SPECIAL EDITIONS.

I was just on the DVD portion of IGN.com and I realized they have been doing a multi-week feature "story" on a lot of the behind the scenes stuff from the OT films.

There is a lot of stuff on here that I didnt even know.

Here are the links to all of them that I could find:

I know its a little late for Building Empire or OCP's Deleted Magic...but I added the links for those two films as well, just in case anybody wanted to see them.

Hopefully there is one or two things in there that you can use, Jambe!

Now that I look at it...the author of these factoid pages is "Todd Gilchrist."

Could this possible be a relative of Mr. OCP himself...Garret?

THE PLOT THICKENS....
