I always took is as Burning of the physical remains is a jedi tradition (made true by TPM)
I am on the fence about seeing endor in all the shots
don't get me wrong it looks cool, but it needs to be done right
there is a great opportunity here for the imperial fleet to come into view as they orbit the forest moon & block the rebels as apposed to just sitting there in open space in a tight formation as they are now,
But the problem lies with the throne room, surely we should be able to see the horizon line of the DSII from that POV, which would make it impossible for luke to see the battle as it would be happening under neath the horizon as it is now. this calls into question where the throne room is in relation to the DSII's main weapon. As it is luke is looking out (& UP through) the window to our right where he can see the battle happening in the distance so he would be able to see the beam strike the rebel ships.
If you look at the picture below you can see that Endor is behind them & that the main weapon is pointing up & away from the moon (GREEN ARROW), I added the RED ARROW to show where I guesstimated the thrown room to be & Luke's view out the right hand window
OK these are VERY subtle but they make a huge difference

for me it was when Yoda is at the forward command post, he and the trooper are REALLY obvious CGI to my eyes
I swear I'm the only one who sees the CG in CGI characters, they all look like high quality renders of the clone wars cartoons to me, especially yoda.

Dooku (in my TMP edit) would be the Chancellors representative on the Jedi council, he would sense Sidious through the force as a bad guy,
In AotC he would indeed be a political idealist, and truly believes what he is saying to Obi wan (this would have to be edited to remove the sarcastic delivery of "oh no this is all a terrible mistake" (all references to "my master" would be gone along with the end sequence with sidious in the warehouse)
Then when Palps says "kill him" its no longer a betrayal between sith, but a complete bitch slap from the sith against the good guys (the separatists) that way it would help towards showing Palps to be more evil when he finally reveals his true intentions to Anakin. & bitch slaps the jedi as well with order 66.

My Doku wish list for TMP
Dooku placed on the council with an alien Jedi referencing (his absent apprentice) Sifo~Dias.
Have maul order the clone army on kamino. With the "at last we will have revenge" speech there, with a possible references to looking for a clone template to a holographic sidious.
Have dooku as the chancelers personal representitive on the Jedi council and have him present on the central podium of the senate.
Have dooku meditate in the council chamber by himself during qui gons death. Have him hear the words "soon I will have a new apprentice, one far more powerful" and have him confront palps in his office. Just prior to them leaving for naboo."chencellor the Jedi have destroyed the sith"
Have dooku attend Qui Gon's funeral from a distance.
