Actually, several of the Podracers crashed without exploding, Teemto's didnts explode and niether did Sebulba's. I loved those crashes.

Well I had to read Millenium Falcon before I could read Outcast but I've finally finished it. I kept waiting for this horrible book to start but I rather enjoyed it. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys the EU and the continuing adventures of Star Wars.

Captainsolo, sorry you didnt enjoy the little of Legacy of the Force that you did read. I thoroughly enjoyed that series. Your comparisons to Episode III are admitedly not without merit but I loved Episode III.

I have several Star wars books I havent read yet, wonder which one Ill decide to read next...maybe the Shadows of Mindor.

I will never understand why people WANT film grain, why not have the clearest picture possible?

It's interesting and well done as always but it wouldnt fit in with what we saw in the Clone Wars movie.

this is something that has always bugged me about bespin. does it have 1 or 2 suns? look at the scene where the falcon first approaches cloud city. first the sun is behind/ to the left of them then its in front of them but the 2 positions of the sun are consistent so maybe there is 2 suns after all.  in the end it all just ends up that i think the clouds look better lighter in the foreground. i did try it with the clouds darker but it just didn't look right at all and didn't have the effect that i was after and the background clouds were perfect especially when, towards the end of the shot, you see the sun poking out from behind the city

According th Star Wars Wiki it has one sun Ady, take that for what it is worth to you.

 Yeah his online handle is Darth Mojo, he has a website and has worked on Battlestar Galactica and Star Trek Voyager. He also has the same attitude as most about the prequels so he would fit in nicely here.

Thanks for posting that link to the Shadows of the Empire end credits....its things like this that make me hang around these boards. I love the version of Xizor's theme in the end credits. Ive wanted this forever.

I always thought that this was a temporary throne room. The Death Star is still under construction and all.

Ok so I was looking at my original post and had an idea for an Axia Edition using the same image.

Maybe instead of on the wall you could add lights to the floor. Kind of like the pattern on the steps in the Carbon Freezing chamber. Yours definitely adds more personality to the sets but the lights should be more subdued and maybe red, a darker red. Becuase it is the Emperor's lair. It should be dark and foreboding.

Meanwhile its time for another edition of the Axia Edition.

I think the Cloud-Car flyby and leaving in the gas refinery would be ideal. It only makes sense that the refinery would be there, it is a Tibanna gas mine after all.

Anything that makes lightsabers better I am all for. Can't we add some reflections of the saber to the surrounding walls and Vader's helmet.

I think its time we got this thread back on target. Hey Ady are you gonna add more Snow walkers to the battle of Hoth?.....Just kidding.

Let me guess this straight, you'd rather have a lopsided helmet with mistakes in it becuase they couldn't make a symetrical one in the beforetime than one that was constructed with superior techniques and doesnt look like it was made in a garage??

Ok boys and girls. I was inspired by Vaderios Angel's post of his OTize Jedi Starfighter cockpit to make one of my own, basically the opposite. Unfortunantly I grabbed scenes from A New Hope to do this which left me with no dedicated thread to post it in. So since the whole trilogy has Xwings I decided to post it here. Let me know what you all think.

I took obvious pieces from x-wing, and zoomed the camera to match with the OT.

I see that now looks less Star wars-y ( more like an other scifi movie). I could add a black screen instead but i think is good to keep a balance between the two sagas.
