SAVE LANDO!!!!
Time

Just caught this thread, and I'm curious as to how Lando has anything to do with the EU? Also Killing off Lando in ROTJ doesn't make any sense and just wouldn't play out very well. If Ady intends to kill off lando at the end of ROTJ as originally scripted during their death star escape, he's going to have a very hard time doing it. The music cues when lando and company are escaping destruction from within the death star are too upbeat. Alterting the music wont fit the visuals for his death edit, and adding new FX and to force the concept wont work visually either. I mean really, you got he flames chasing lando and the music is getting intense. The flames engulf the falcon and you think oh know, they might not survive, the music ultimately puts your worst fears to rest as lado blasts out of the flames and escapes the mega explosion.

In short, it would be very hard killing lando off and making it work. He would have to take lando totally out of ROTJ to make it work and then that would be extremely hard to do.

In real life it would happen so fast so you wouldnt be able to catch it all. It makes rewatching it so much more fun!

Yeah, but were watching a movie here not reality TV.

I think it's perfectly fine.

It could be improved. But this all depends on Ady, If he wants to change it up great, if he doesn't it's no big deal.

Just watched the new clip ady, brilliant Job! My only concern is that the X-wing that gets destroyed; I had to play it a couple of times to catch it. The problem is that the x-wing and it's destruction is somewhat hidden amongst all the ion cannon and star destroyer fire, and it doesn't help being so close to the rebel transport ship either which is titanic in comparison. I showed it to a couple of people an they didn't catch it at first either.

I will admit that I'm a little disappointed Ady has decided to remove the spinning starfield in his edit; however, it's removal by no means will ruin the movie for me. To be honest, I don't think anybody is really going to miss it after seeing what all Ady is going to do.

I will be adding more laser fire coming from the side guns but I will be keeping them the same colour as the main lasers

I like them red as well. Wouldn't have them any other color. The problem is that they are really brief and quick when they do fire. It's like a don't blink or you could miss them kind of thing.

ImperialFighter, I was the one that mentioned the side guns not firing a while back. Ady didn't respond to my inquiry. I watched the hoth battle again soon afterwards and noticed that they did indeed fire, but they were hard to catch. I mentioned this to Ady if he could make them more noticeable, and again Ady didn't respond to my inquiry. Sadly, he couldn't find my posts. He asked me to repost my questions, but I didn't bother with it again. I figured someone would bring it up again eventually and Ady would then have a chance to respond to it. I'm glad you brought the topic back up, with pics. No offense to you Ady.

Awesome work Ady! I would have never thought you would actually go out of the way and build models and set pieces and film new elements to composite into ESB:R I would have thought you would go the CGI rout instead like you did with the Tie intro in ANH:R, but building models and set pieces would be alot more realistic than CGI anyway.

Just curious, how are you going to accomplish the two ties colliding with each other. Are you going to actually going to crash 2 models into each other?

The Mynocks shouldn't survive either then, I'd imagine. C'mon Auggie, this is Star Wars, not National Geographic....monstrous lifeforms evolve differently in fantasy galaxies far, far, away perhaps. ;)

Well, they cant survive outside in the vacuum, but if conditions were just right inside the asteroid, then you could very well have something there, just not a slug that can reach outside in space. But this is all besides the point. I think the slugg looks best untouched.

Ady, please don't change the space sluggs teeth to resemble a more cave like structure. I have never had a problem with the teeth in my whole life of watching Empire. I would rather you take the slugg out over changing the teeth. In fact, the slugg has no business existing in the vacuum of space.

Just a thought, but you could always remove the lines about Han and Leia talking about it.

STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION

It might not be a media problem. I have tried other kinds ROM's (DVD5 and DVD9) that I have burned "FAN EDITS" on, and they don't work on it either. Now when I copy a store bought dvd onto a Dual layer or Single layer ROM it will work. I suspect that it is the mpeg codecs that fan edits use that might be the problem.

I was just curious if anybody here tried playing Revisited on any of the stand alone Sony Blu-ray players, and had any problems. I guess I will have to do a firmware update and see if that fixes the problem.

Hey Ady,

I was mistaken about the smaller AT-AT guns not firing. I watched the 2004 box set of Empire and noticed that they did fiire, but it was kind hard to catch. Perhaps you could make them more noticeable.

Btw, you seem to avoid responding to any of my inquiries, what gives?

Just saw watched both versions of the yoda tweak. Incredible work ady! I think the second version is the best.

I do have a little request on the hoth battle. Could you give the smaller guns on the side of the head of the AT-AT's a little action. They never fire the whole time if I recall.

LOL, I would have never made the connection with Augie Doggie, the Hanna Barbera cartoon. I actually watched that cartoon back in the late 70's early 80's. It's a shame that I forgot about that. But anyway, Who knows why Ernie Fosselius chose it. Mabe the Augie Doggie show was one of his favorite cartoons, and he simply gave it a Star Wars flare to it. Thanks for the link Ziz!!!
