Let's Talk Indy For A Sec

You're not alone. Even Speilberg does not care for it.

But I have to admit that the opening 20 minutes of the movie was great. The movie picks up again when Indy breaks out of his spell and starts kicking some ass.

How is the film racist? I don't see anything racist about.

Are you really that ignorant? Seriously... the "tribesmen" from Raiders, the Indians from Doom, and the South Americans in Skull? What about the Chinese people in Doom and the middle easterns in Raiders? Man, go do some research on the people's actual cultures and get back to me.

For me it's:

1. Raiders

2. Last Crusade

3. Crystal Skull

4. Temple of Doom

I actually liked CS... aside from the monkeys, the spaceship and the cheesy ending. I HATE Temple of Doom however. It's just a terrible film. I'm sorry, Temple of Doom sucks. From the racist views on Indians to the shitty plot revolving around a ridiculously stupid artifact, this movie just screams crap.

How much i wish That the prequels and special editions never existed so  questions like this one would not have to be asked, and would be irrelevant.

This like the question on versions of the movies would not have to be debated if the saga ended in 1983 like it should have.

Just Like Indiana Jones should have been left alone after last crusade.

All Lucas did was go back and destroy 2 of the favorite franchises of my youth, and added Bad and fake cgi where it was neither wanted or needed.

1999 Phantom Menace was hard to stomach Racist Characters like Jar Jar and the Gungans, and the Nemodians.  Poop and Fart Jokes and writing that could have been put together by a juvenile moron.

Thanks Captain Bias!

My personal opinion? (Drumroll please)

...neither. That's right. Puppet Yoda lacked "life-ism" and CG Yoda lacked "material-ism" The puppet yoda was actually there, something you could see walk into a room physically. But still was as jittery as any muppet is. CG Yoda was gread on emotions and movement but lacked the materialistic/tangeable feel to him. You could never imagine him walking into a room, he's CLEARLY CG. We needed a mupppet with some CG work. To enhance the emotions and movement while retaining the tangeable feel to him.

They are Lucas' movies. Love em or leave em. Ive been force to listen to people complain about HIS property since 1997 and I'm sick to death of it. If you want the originals so bad watch them on an old VHS without stereo. (First day of release only had mono mixes) The quality of the playback on those old VCRs and the contiuing degrading quality of your VHS tapes should be pretty close to the quality you experienced in a theater in 77.

They arent' your movies, they are Lucas'. Don't like it? Stop complaining about and move on to something you do like. I love the SE and Im sick to death of all the jaded haters.

You dont have to watch, you don't have to buy it. I've never understood the Special Edition hatred, they added far more to the movies then they took away.

Great post. I'm impressed anyone had the balls to say this. I liked them too. The Greedo shootin thing I don't think was a big deal, aside from making Greedo look like a retarded bounty hunter who can't aim. Also, the change to the Emperor was good, but I think something along the lines of what Ady pulled off would've been better. And I personally liked the new ending of ROTJ. Now I do believe both SE and OOT should be released but I'm not gonna say I hate the Special Edition, cause I don't. I even liked the voice change of Boba. Yes I said it. It just makes sense.

Star Wars: Renascent *** NOW AVAILABLE!!! ***

I'm gonna see if I can get someone else to do the DVD after words. I'll provide the Deleted Scenes and Actual Film as well as a few possible featurettes. That person would only have to do Subtitles, collecting the clips for the menu and assembling it. I should be finished editing after about 6 months. Then I'll give the DVD creator another 6 months to work on the DVD and once I know it's completed, I'll be doing some quick 30 second spots for people until the release.

DVD Ripping and Editing with Surround Sound - HELP ME!

Ahahaha, I have a 40GB computer. I'll stick with AGK. I think I've figured out how to keep the video good. I'm gonna see if I can get someone else to do the DVD after words.
