Star Wars: Renascent *** NOW AVAILABLE!!! ***
Time

I just made I think my final edits to the outline on the first page. I got rid of the Kamino Clone conspiracy crap, Tyranus's long and unnecessary monologue is also cut, Jango/Boba Fett is only in a breef seen from afar. So this is a short cameo and we know Obi-Wan is persuing him but he gets apprehended. I'm going to leave it open so he can just be another Mandalorian Inspired Bounty Hunter, he could be Jango and he could be Boba. Regardless, the bounty hunter doesn't lose his head. Also, C3PO will not be in the flashbacks. Maybe in the background, but it is never said to be him. Consider it a foreshadowing and that's it.

I did that, and then my hardrive whent berzerk a while after, and I lost everything. I got the hardrive replaced and now I have to start over. I think the main reason why I didn't want to do it anymore was because of the fact that I was just so frustrated. I've just decided to do that same method again it's just that I'm gonna be ripping and converting for like a week. Editing shouldn't take too long I don't think because I've got the whole layout and a large selection of music.

Hey wait, I've got AVI's that are already AC3 encoded. Just random files work fine, it's just my ripped movies (SW:R, AOTC, ROTS, Wall-E, Batman Begins etc) that the audio won't come out while using Sony Vegas. Like I'm getting NOTHING. Guys my final answer is this, if I can't get the audio to work in surround sound with Vegas when it's already encoded, then I'll just convert it to 2.1 and pan it. As I said before, I'll be coming back to redo these when Ady has finished his edits in 1080p or if I can upconvert what I need very well and it will be edited in 7.1. Again, you're still getting the film in 5.1 just not the PERFECT quality sound. It won't be very noticeable.

EDIT: I'm trying MANY alternatives here. I found out that it can BARELY support 5.1 encoded videos so I'll just rip the audio from the video again. Damn this is so annoying. My computer is gonna be ripping and converting for a week, ahahaha

It's really frustrating me beyond belief for two reasons mostly:

1. When I import an AVI with surround sound the audio won't play in Sony Vegas 9

2. I don'y have to patience to edit it if all six audio channels are losse and unatached to eachother.

But as I said before, I'll do it in DVD resolution and panned surround sound so that if everyone likes it, I can do it in 7.1 surround sound and 1080p when Star Wars comes out on blu-ray and BD-ROMs become the norm.

well i just popped in to do some catching up and... wow. So much reading to do.  I just wished i'd known you were going to post all that, ImperialFighter, because i have already finished the stardestroyer scene and have fixed the positioning problems.

because i was already going to be cleaning up the Fx i decided it would be easier to redo the whole position of the stardestroyers than use any form of flip shots ( i just hate flip shots. lol)

i've got a lot of reading to do so i will reply to everything else soon.

The lasers in the second shot should have white cores, no? I'd assume it would look like lightsaber-bullets in a more simplistic way of looking at it. I can do a mock up if you don't get what I mean.

Ok, I'm ready to cut a deal with you all. My school's server attacked the USB script conversion in my HDD and all I'm left with is a paperweight.

So I'm willing to edit the film for a standard monitor and stereo audio mix AND release it in half the time.

If you guys like it and would like it in better quality, when all 6 films are released on Bluray and Bluray rom's become the norm for computers I will edit the three films AGAIN, making correction to anywhere you guys felt needed fixing and have it in 7.1 surround sound and full 1080p video.

This way you guys can preview the film, and together we can discuss what needs fixing and then the 1080p version will be flawless.
