May I please have a link to this edit. I like the idea of showing a new fan-editor some love and also, I love the idea here. I too really, REALLY didn’t care for the inclusion of Palpatine and while ultimately I liked the original movie, I felt it was really hurt by so many poor decisions so this sounds up my alley.

I’ve actually been someone who has really enjoyed the Sequel Trilogy but man, TROS really left me cold and while Ascendant was pretty fantastic? This looks like it’s gonna scratch more of the itch for what I really wanted out of this.

Hello there, I am AspiringCreator. I’ve been a Star Wars fan since the early 2000s when I first watched the Original Trilogy on VHS (The copies that featured at the beginning a brief interview of George Lucas by Leonard Maltin.) and since then I have been in love with this series through thick and thin from the Prequels through the Sequels.
Mainly I joined because I was motivated by the fan-edit The Rise of Skywalker: Resurgent. I was never a big fan-edit guy before this but when it came to this movie I was willing to seek out the edits wherever I could. I was always aware of this site before then but my experience mostly was through the movie The People vs. George Lucas which should tell you generally how I initially came to view it. Thankfully I grew out of that mindset and am just a person who loves Star Wars and would love to share my love with others.
