Oh, I'm doing the edit, no doubt about it. I want it for my personal use. Just wanted to see if it was worth sharing.

I used CCE SP v2.70. I selected the multi angle option with a maximum bitrate of 4100 (so 2 angles; 2 x 4100 + 1536 = 9736, shouldn't be too high). I tested the multi angle option in DVDMaestro (v2.9) with just the multi angle scenes + audio and there was no problem, it compiled ok, I burned it to dvd and it played fine. But when I try to compile the entire dvd I get an error about an VOBU exceeding the max bitrate of 8000. But I'm not sure if the program means 8000 with or without audio. But since the test with only the multi angle scenes went fine I don't know what all the trouble is about.

Star Wars Edit: DC/Faces audio + 2004 video Hybrid (Released)
Time
Oh, I was doing an edit of the Star Wars. I use the DC/Faces audio as a base and the 2004 dvd for video. So basically I cut the 2004 video to match the '77 theatrical and use the PCM audio from Belbucus. I wanted 2 versions of star wars on 1 dvd. Version one being all 2004 footage, version 2 with some '77 elements like the original crawl, Ben's house and wolfman using multi angles. I called it special definitive collection, SDC, since it's a hybrid + I thought it sounds cool.
There are so many edits, I thought everyone was already "edit tired" but I thought I could try and see if anyone was interested anyway. But since no one was I edited my original post
But now I had a problem authoring the dvd. I had everything encoded, all the multi angles and stuff but when I try to compile DVDMaestro starts bitching about the maximum bitrate being exceeded. But that's impossible...

And if the answer is yes, is your dad a member of NAMBLA perhaps?

Tell your dad that forbidding you to see chick's pics on Star Wars forums will turn you into a "dirty homo". Put some red lipstick and cry while you say that. I strongly belive he'll be allowing you to post here after that.

(Wow this is a Star Wars forum, I almost forgot about it...)

OH MY GOD , ric, of all the people on this forum... CULTURE SHOCK

Legend - Lost 125 min Director's cut (Released)
Time
Heh! First I bought the european version. Later I found out there was a director's cut. So I sold my dvd and bought the ultimate edition (theatrical + director's cut) on ebay. Then I found out the european cut was a unique cut so I bought it again. But I didn't know there's an NTSC version of the european cut. Which makes it much easier to do the 125 min director's cut. So I hope someone will recreate this version.

Why is it so bizarre? It has nothing to do with agression or violence. I hate all the war and violence that's going on in the world but I love weapons. But just for recreational (is that a correct word?) use.

It's a shotgun but I don't know what gage (it's not my gun, I don't own any).

Bad_karma, the M1 Garand, is that the rifle that throws out the clip when the last round is fired?

I'm from Holland and it's pretty difficult to (legally) own a gun here, it's all very restricted. But I just love guns Not to shoot animals (or any other breathing organism) but just targets.
When you saw the name of the thread and the name of the creator you probably thought I was going to criticize the US. Not gonna happen.

So if you have a gun (or guns), I'm interested in the technical details (and a picture would be nice).

The $$$ spent on the war on terror
Time
I know the discussions we had in the Politics thread but I'm just curious how the US can afford to spent these amounts of money. It must be a real burden on the country. It's all money you can't spent on roads, education, healthcare, police etc etc. It's all tax money I guess? So that tax money would otherwise be spent on different things. So what is getting cut back?

The $$$ spent on the war on terror

In 2007 Washington will have spent well over 500 billion dollars on the war on terror.

I really don't understand how the US can afford this. Where is all this money coming from? If they wouldn't have spent it on the war on terror where would the money have gone?

Is it worth spending this kind of money on the war on terror? I mean, is it helping? I don't feel like the threats are less then they were 5, 6 years ago.
