I think they XØ is all about preserving the LaserDiscs, not the theatrical versions (since there's no theatrical version on LD).

Children shouldn't, imo, be taught to fear firearms. They at least need to be taught to get an adult if they find one. At best they should be taught how to use and/or disarm one. Even if you don't want your kids using guns, at least teach them to get an adult if they find one. Not knowing what a gun can do and not knowing to get an adult if one is found can be disastrous.

They bitched about that? Incredible.
Showing children how to safely handle firearms seems good to me. But as soon as they can hold a gun? Seems a bit soon to me.

It wasn't about what he did! It's about lying under oath (ya know, perjury and all that other stuff).
They shouldn't have asked him unimportant stuff like that under oath.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Adding "the American way" would not be bad in my opinion because of the current administration, it has nothing to do with that.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Excuse me? Are you saying, that based on your (in my opinion erroneous) view that Bush is somehow unjust and untruthful, that America no-longer stnads for truth and justice? That's incredibly near-sighted. Did anyone say America was inherently untruthful and unjust when Clinton was being impeached for lying under oath? Or was Nixon's sin somehow the fault of the American people?
No, that's honestly not at all what I meant. I meant the phrase has nothing to do with the government and linking it would be stupid. So Bush being President doesn't even matter.
And that whole Clinton thing was so blown out of proportion. Who gives a fuck who he fucks. Damn right he lied about it. It's a private matter, doesn't hurt anyone else and has nothing to do with his ability as President. And he admitted his mistake later.
Now, making up fake evidence for weapons of mass destruction that's something different. It got countless thousands killed, costs an enormous ammount of money and what not. And Bush got away with it. Didn't even admit he was wrong. Ofcourse he doesn't, he thinks he's carrying out Gods plan for the world.
Yes C3PX, it sounds a bit cheesy but I didn't realise he was so "American". So if the original phrase was "truth, justice and the American way" than that's what should have been in the movie. Could be a good fan-edit!

A disaster? How so? The United States of America was founded on the ideals of Truth and Justice, so it is the American way. Like I said in my previous post, just because the current administration might be making some people angry (others were angry at the US before he came into office, so that's not his fault), doesn't mean that Truth and Justice aren't still the American way.
You said truth and justice is the American way so I would say truth and justice would be enough. Besides, superman is not an american, he's not even human. Adding "the American way" would not be bad in my opinion because of the current administration, it has nothing to do with that. Mixing "the American way" with a universal figure like superman will look like Americans can't look beyond there own country. There's no truth and justice in any other part of the world?
Edit: Or is "truth, justice and the American way" some sort of proverb? Something you usually say in one sentence? Is it like when you say "truth, justice" it's automatically followed by "the American way" than it's stupid to leave it out.
I'm thinking about this too much. I probably would not have noticed it if it would have been truth, justice and the American way.

Ah, I see what you mean now.
Who says "Truth, justice, and all that other good stuff"? I can't remember that line.
Edit: I think I remember, is it when the boss of the daily planet says "does he still stand for ..."?
If that's the line thank god they changed it. "Does he still stand for truth, justice and the American way?" Yes, that would have been a disaster. Truth and justice, fine.

Oh, but it's not always painful or negative.
Generally speaking I like most "typical American" things.

Do you want a scene selection menu with the mini pictures of the scenes? Or just names? Any way, the first thing you must do is select the movie stream and make chapter points. After that in the menu you can link (just right click the button) whatever buttons you make to the chapter points.
2)
What do you mean with menu cells? Do you mean a motion menu with buttons displaying the different scenes?
Also, there are very handy guides at the dvd-lab site.

And going off of early production photos of Luke in the black outfit (especially ones showing Luke standing with Vader) had us guessing that a clone of a dark side Luke was 'the other'.
Also, a side note, I did feel strongly that when Lando looks over the buttons on Hans Carbon freeze unit, we were sure that he set a timer to free Han so he could escape Boba Fett.

That are some really cool ideas!
I don't know what documentary it was but it's so funny when Mark Hamill tells about the time the told him Leia was going to be his sister in the film. He was so disappointed because he was looking forward to some "serious snogging" with Carrie

But if every writing has a spanish duplicate that's just plain stupid. If you go to another country the first thing you do is learn the language they speak there. Fucking adapt! Even every R1 dvd has also a spanish audio and/or subtile track...
For Europe I think it would be a good idea for some writing to have english duplicate because of the many different languages and relative small countries.
