"Nuclear Energy: A Green Makes the Case"
Time
An interesting article indeed!

But I don't understand this:
"Within 40 years, used fuel has less than one-thousandth of the radioactivity it had when it was removed from the reactor."
If the half-life of Uranium (or whatever fuel is used) is thousands of years how the hell can the radiation of the waste products decrease to less than one-thousandth in 40 years?

Also, the article doesn't say how "easy" it is to mine nuclear fuel and how much energy it costs. It would be interesting to know how much of a reserve there is.

Liz confessed to Linda.

Vernon got increasingly suspicious of Liz when she snapped at his every move.

Later an emotional Linda turned up at the Rovers asking to speak to Liz and told her that Derek was leaving her for another woman.

Liz couldn’t cope with the guilt and confessed to having an affair with Derek.

Meanwhile, Sally celebrated her 40th birthday…in the Rovers. Kevin gave a speech and a sung song as the dogs whined in the surrounding area.

And finally, Molly ‘borrowed’ Vera’s address book to let all the Duckworths’ family know they need full-time care.

LOL
That Liz is such a whore!

I know I'm impatient but since Belbucus said some time ago "almost there" I thought lets ask. I PMed him about something else and never got a reply so I was also wondering if he still visits the forum. Well, he's probably very busy with his new job.

Transformers: The Movie
Time
I loved this movie. I don't think it was a very good movie but it was so much fun watching. Loved the humor, the military hardware, the action, the cars. It's been some time I had this much fun at the theatre. Now that I think about it, I love all movies Bay directed (although I didn't see bad boys (II) ).

The theatre I went to had part of the roof coming down because of very heavy rainfall or something. 9 kubic meters of concrete came falling down on the chairs (they evacuated in time). If that happened during Transformers you would have believed one of the Transformers came through the roof

Zion, I would consider a replacement for Laserman if you don't hear from him sooner or later. Personally I hope Laserman can recover and get back into the swing of things to finnish this project, but if he can't come back, then this project might allready be dead, unless someone can step in to fill his shoes.

Laserman is fighting for his life and you are talking about replacing him!?!?!
Laserman is irreplaceable...

Idea: 'The Dark Crystal' - Isolated Music Score - an edit?
Time
That IS a nice birthday present!

I had no idea there are that many different releases! That list doesn't include the PAL superbit version, makes me wonder if there are even more releases.
I was thinking of using the superbit PAL video, and use DGpulldown to convert it to 23.976 fps and pull it down to 25 fps. That way I won't have to re-encode the video, and it will stay at PAL resolution, but best of all I won't have to speed up the audio. I just have to convert the 44.1 khz wave files to 48 khz wave files and sync them to the video. Best video and audio quality
