Help with Burning a DL DVD9
Time
PgcEdit has an option to split the ISO into 1 GB files. That way I can easily make a backup copy of the ISO on two normal DVD+Rs.

Well, when you make the ISO you select a layerbreak. If you want to burn the ISO to disc and use that layerbreak you select "Don't Update IFO/BUP files option". If you change your mind and want to change the layerbreak you can still do that just before burning by selecting a new position and not selecting "Don't Update IFO/BUP files option" I guess.

Supposedly some other guy on these boards made pal transfers of a new hope and empire that were better called citezen then dissapeared from the face of the earth and pulled them from the web when the sucky gout was released in 2006.

Personally I didn't think Citizen's transfers were better. They image looked a bit like an aquarel painting to me.

The program is fine! I burn all my DL discs with ImgBurn. But I make the ISO with PgcEdit. I always select "Seamless" and never had any problems, you won't notice the layerbreak at all. Normally I select a layerbreak position so both layers are about the same size but it really doesn't matter very much. I don't select "don't update ifo/bup files" (I think otherwise the layerbreak/seamless you just selected is ignored and the layerbreak from the ISO is used but I'm not sure).

Yeah I think so too. I though he was going to the hospital for 6 weeks. So not having heard from him almost makes you fear the worst.

Hey Arnie anyway to download those covers you made?I really love some of those-especially the Luke on Tatooine one!
Can we talk you into getting some ESB and ROTJ ones stuck together too?

I deleted them It was just for fun, to see how it would look. But easy enough to remake them. I just put a picture on the front of a Criterion template. Didn't do anything to the backs yet. I think Strangelove covered Empire and Jedi pretty good. Were do you get this extended artwork from Strangelove, or do you join different pictures together yourself?

Ack! Sorry, my bad. I made an assumption based on the pictures of the F-35 that it was the same JSF as the F-22 (thought maybe they renumbered it or something). I was actually referring to the F-22.

I'm betting the F-22 and F-35 are pretty even in a fight, though I haven't looked into the details. The F-22 may have more power since it has two engines instead of one.

Which Sukhois are you referring to? From a quick Wikipedia search, the only thing that looks like it would come close to either the F-22 or F-35 is the PAK-FA. As far as I can tell, that's still in development. Any of their other ones look more like F-15s and F-18s than anything else. I'd imagine that if they're anything like those, they don't stand a chance.

I meant any Sukhoi from the SU-27 and up. They are awesome, extreme manuverability. The pilot has an aiming device in the helmet so he can lock on to a target by just looking at it. He can even look back and lock on to another plane that's attacking from behind. If the pilot can't use the landing gear, no problem, he can slide (they built it to be able to do that). And the pilot can steer the exhaust nozzles.

Belly landing

I'm sure the F-22 can do the same (except for the belly landing maybe).

And my favorite: F-35 vertical takeoff
More F-35
We want the STOVL too you can't keep it for yourself, we helped develop it!

And FYI, the F-35 makes everything shit its pants. They had a special on it on the History channel just a few months ago. One F-35 downed everything, in a training exercise, that we threw at it. We're talking F-15s, F-14s, F-18s. Everything. The F-35 is THE modern equivalent of the F-15. Nothing stands a chance against it.

Ofcourse it beats everything from F-14 to F18 but did they mention anything about how it would do against the latest Russian Sukhois? And what about the F-22?

I think you are mixing up something. You have the naval/marine variant and the "short takeoff and vertical landing" variant (STOVL). Are you sure no European country will get the STOVL, I thought GB will buy them to replace Harriers.

Are you forgetting that Israel has one of the worlds largest nuclear ICBM programs next to the USA, Russia and China.....?

What do they need intercontinental missiles for? Aren't all there enemies at the same continent?

The covers are cool and quite classy, except for the Criterion worship. Criterion is more for Bergman and Bertolucci flicks (despite the paying a few bills with Armageddon). What makes Criterion special is that they take films that wouldn't otherwise typically see such a release and do lavish editions of them. Star Wars is about as mainstream as it gets and doesn't fit into Criterion's mold. Criterion would be more for THX1138 than Star Wars.

I think Criterion has quite some mainstream movies also (Movies like Hard Boiled, The Killer, The Royal Tenenbaums, Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas, Life Of Brian, The Silence Of The Lambs, Robocop, The Rock and Armageddon come to mind) only their transfer is usually better and they have more extras. That's exactly what we could use for Star Wars

We didn't even give that much to the countries that were involved in the 2004 Tsunami, which could of used it a hell of a lot more than them. I hate to say it but we deserve to have the Palestinians hating us going in their world and changing their cultures. Face it. Don't give me the Jew's got it for reparations from the Holocaust bullshit there are many people's who have gone through longer and bigger genocides I don't see America giving back land to the Indians (Besides a few little specks of land). But if the Jew's where in the Palestinians place I'd bet they would be doing the same thing.

*Prepares for flaming*

I think it is 30 billion in the next 10 years. If the US doesn't support Israel military like they do Israel probably would not exist anymore. But Israel is doing criminal things as well. Like building that safety wall on Palestinian land, the humiliations at the checkpoints and the crap they did during occupations.

Thoughts?

That's pretty cool actually How did you make the starfield (I assumed it's the entire starfield from the scroll to the planet)?

I made a few more myself, nothing creative, just copy/paste for the fun of it.
