As promised, here you are some more Matrix laserdisc screenshots:

OK, they are only pictures of the screen, but they give you an idea... for example, the agent Smith interview with Neo is white-greyish! Mmmhhh, something to think about...

I think the white-balance on his camera is off. Also, his TV might not be calibrated.

Frankly, I wouldn't bother answering all pushy, intrusive questions about who is posting what and when either if I was a part of the team, seems like they are pretty damn busy as it is. Sure, his/her/their style is weird and all but so what? If they want to be vague or even feel the need to lie about who is writing behind the moniker or whatever, I'm sure they have their reasons. That's largely irrelevant to me at least.

Good point(s), but you have to remember that Moth3r has different concerns than the rest of us, as he's a forum mod.

At this point I'd rather be left in the dark until it's all fucking done and over with.  This is ridiculous.

Meh. I'm more excited for the 2K Super8 scans I'm getting from poita.

(The Super8 grain makes the trilogy look more otherworldly than it already does, so I'd actually prefer to have a Super8 trilogy preservation over a 35mm trilogy preservation.)

Why not just unsubscribe from the -1 threads?

The blog.  I may be incorrect about all of them, but he listed at least one of them for sale and then told us it sold.

These rescans lead me to believe either this is not the case, or the buyer joined the Team.

He did sell it; that print is gone.

My inside source says that a new better condition 35mm print has been acquired.

Interesting.  If I recall correctly they never mentioned that part when talking about their rescans...

advanced txt editor strikes again in Chrome!

I don't think they've ever explicitly brought it up. I don't know why they haven't...

Also, Jay hasn't replied to my e-mail yet, so no new TinyMCE yet! *sigh*

I can't even think of an actual problem I've really encountered that it solves.

Our HTPC allows us to:

1. Watch things we download from Usenet on our TV; e.g., a 1.5GiB episode of Modern Family downloads in less than 5 minutes

2. Watch "webisodes"; e.g., Cinemassacre.com videos

3. Retrogaming (mostly NES using the Nestopia emulator) – we have USB NES controllers, so it mostly feels "real"

4. "Modern"gaming; e.g., we're playing the AVGN game on Steam right now

We don't use our HTPC exclusively, of course. We have tons of equipment, physical media, and video game consoles. Our HTPC does, however, act as a really convenient supplement.

Either I have offended Moth3r, or am unworthy to be acknowledged by them.

Dude, don't sweat it if someone takes awhile to respond to your PMs.

edit: am I the only person who the advanced text editor has been randomly switching formatting on recently?  For software out for like 5 years this still has a ton of crippling bugs.

I experience the same bug, depending on which browser I'm using.

The rich text editor here is TinyMCE and I believe our version is quite out-of-date.

JEDIT: I just sent an e-mail to Jay about this.

A couple of minutes ago, I was in the kitchen with my mom as she was flipping tv channels, and among the plethora of cooking shows that now plague the airwaves, we stumbled upon a program that had a chef with a Moe Howard haircut, and he kinda resembled the Stooge, too. I started giggling like a silly goose, mom had to change the channel. Whatever, I'm making up my own Stooges short in my head... XD

This story is useless without pictures of your mom.

Well, would a MySpleen.org account help make up for the loss? :-)
