Harmy's STAR WARS Despecialized Edition HD - V2.7 - MKV (Released)

Look in the comments on that comicbook.com link - Fox owns the distribution rights to the original trilogy and would have to license them to Disney.  Smells like a steaming pile of bullshit.

You're right. I'm sure Fox isn't interested in making a boatload of money. It's more advantageous for them to snub Disney and continue trying to sell the 2011 set.

This Reddit thread is so fucking depressing. Why, you ask?

  1. The number of people convinced that the OUT was completely destroyed.

  2. The number of people who want some Frankenstein'sMonster-esque mishmash of OUT and SE.

  3. "Weren't the originals released on DVD in 2006?"... 'nuff said.

  4. The (surprising) number of people who think selling an LD->BD rip would be acceptable.

  5. The presence of the token "People still buy physical media???!" guy.

And, to a lesser extent...

  6. The obsession over the ownership of the distribution rights.

I don't expect everyone to be like us, but I just don't understand these people.

I'm going to bed. -_-

Nobody here knows. Shoot an e-mail to LoC and ask them. After they reply to you, come back and post your findings in this thread.

Ok, they tell me the print has a stereo optical track, non-Dolby. But I don't believe there's any noticeable difference between Dolby stereo and non-Dolby stereo (if there is, please correct me if I'm wrong).

Interesting. I'm not sure what they mean either.

Thanks for following-up with this information.

I could waste time

 You are!

It posts like this that confirm my suspicions about you being a warm and helpful member of the human species.

Maybe I am wasting my time trying keep this project going, maybe I'm wasting my time promoting your projects too and pointing people in the direction of them. Maybe I waste my time with all the ideas threads and all the other things I've done on this site.

Maybe I should just stop wasting my time and yours.

Cheers x

Uh oh, pissed Bingo.

Stick around with us, Dr. Bing Owings. If not for us, then do it for your sister's quiche!

I don't really know what we'd do if we were all in one place.

e.g., watch a few fanedits and a few preservations on a big screen; attend a talk by Adywan|Harmy|Poita|Team_Negative1; attend an Adobe AfterEffects speed-tutorial; count petition signatures with pat man; check out booths publicizing new fanedits and preservations; meet TV's Frink; be a part of a short movie documenting the convention; <insert your idea here>.

Update: SirHenryPercy, in all likelihood, also goes by the username "harryhotspur" elsewhere on the WWW.

The doxing will continue.

That would make sense given the Shakespeare and Football illusions.

Yep. Unfortunately, there seems to have been a popular blogger in the Spurs community that went by "harryhotspur" and I can't tell if it's our SirHenryPercy or not.

I know, at least, that our SirHenryPercy lives (or lived) in Hertfordshire and traveled to Belgium in 2010.

Are you interested in helping out with the dox?

JEDIT: If so, it might help to know that our SirHenryPercy is likely 35-49. There's a 19-year-old "harryhotspur" on Tumblr, but I don't think it's him.
