You answered your own question here without knowing it ..... your issue with frame drops is the USB part of your transfer process.  I had the same issue with my capture tests using VirtualDub.  For it to work properly you should use an internal capture card. 

I also use an external drive with a firewire connection.

I've never had frame drops using a USB capture device (Hauppauge USB Live-2). Then again, I always capture without audio...

Did you modify the audio-sync settings? The default ones drop lots of frames to maintain sync, IIRC.

The ATI Theater HD 750 has some terrible AGC issues.

Search on the videohelp.com forums for more information on the AGC problems inherent to its chipset.

DJ and I managed to solve the render problems. It seems avisynth has a limit for how many clips can be combined in one script, and we had many since there were lots of fixed frames to put back into the render.

Now all that is left is for me to make the final decision on the colors, the menu guy to finish our menus and then it won't be long until you have both SW theatrical and 97 SE.

Very exciting! I can't wait!

Not exactly, but if someone had root access to his computer they could, for instance, change his hosts file to map facebook.com to a different IP that, when visited in a WWW browser, displays a website that appears identical to Facebook.

but they all share the same AUTORUN.INF (2006.05.08) & MENU.EXE (2006.06.23).  Going by this data was wondering if they possibly fixed/modified something in the HK GOUT.

Any new information on this?
