I run the scales on 3d max i put the falcon in the back and it looks the same...

You dont call it iconic, just "an" establishing shot.
Not suggesting to change. More I wanted an indication of heights since the bird's eye view shows us nothing. Subconsciously cant work..
I checked the size comparison of shuttle and i run it near an SD's bridge. The results were almost identical with ady's. Still want the milelium falcon with a fixed angle when it flybys from needa's bridge...
I also run again some bridge shots in 3d of how visible can be the hull from there. Zero for SDs and some hull for executor in ROTJ only.

I know that the flyby is tough to recreate it without footage or whatever.
But since we see in the next shots that there is heights in the snow, why in the establishing shots are all plain?
Even if the mockup doesnt present the correct landscape it gives the idea. Right JJ? :)

This is a heavy re-edit of the Episode III opening battle. Notable changes are:

I know the youtube upload created some odd interlacing, but I would like to know what you think of the pacing and the color changes.
What I really like in this one was that i didnt expecting to see anakin and obi so quickly. You know we see all the sequence before we go to characters. Very nice touch!
The music could be bit more worked, but i didnt bothered.
Nice alternations to the diaolugues.
I really loved the way that the action is still hot even when they crash landed in the hangar, rather a moment of silence in the original.
Very very good edit, cant wait for more.
Btw where was the color correction.

Logicaly when han shoots the belly of the slug and the camera goes crazy from the "earthquake" the cables of Millenium falcon are stable.
Hopefully they are poor on detail so i think they can be made with easy and doable ways more interactive with their moving environment.

The studio set is completely the wrong scale. It's actually too small as can be seen when they are repairing the falcon in ESB and we see Chewie in the cockpit from outside. The cockpit is about 40% smaller than it should be when we see them in the cockpit set. So to match the scale of the cockpit set and the model the studio version should be a lot bigger.

Well ady will make a shield generator prop and will blow it to oblivion.
Besides that shot is too weak that i think needs whole re shooting. A better money shot oh-well!
A whole ground operation was for taking down the shield. At least at the end its good to get a Michael Bayish explosion aswell :)

The Faux fur/ hair i was using for the Wampa just wasn't working. It started to look like a fake Halloween creature. But some good news is that i have managed to buy 3 full hides of snow white real fur. This was bloody expensive, around £350 with postage, but thanks to Janskeet i was able to afford this, but i'm now cleaned out. Yes i know its an expensive thing to buy just for a puppet, but putting all this time and effort into building it only to have it look terrible with fake fur would have been a waste of both time and money.
I still have a long way to go with the model/ set building but i am completely cleaned out and things are grinding to a halt, so any help would be highly appreciated

In Adywan's old comparison video he shows the RE version have the TIEs firing.
He removed the lasers. I dont remember the reason.. lol
I want them back. It may add more interaction to laser asteroid impacts as well MORE color :D

Its your edit Ady, but a TIE Shuttle is already a Shuttle, seems since ROTJ everyone thinks theres only one design, after I saw TESB in '80 for three years I thought a TIE Shuttle was the only way for senior officers to travel.
See it stylised. We have see the bombers before so we are slight familiar with the design. If we see the tie shuttle again ,which is similar to bomber's design, we are going to assume the same thing. we need a really heavy close up to the shuttle to spot why its not a bomber witch is something will not be. Play with silhouettes always. basic Marvel comic rule :D
And the problem with the mound being covered by debris was fixed a very long time ago
