Seeing a human hand under stormie armor. It's not a mistake. Nobody assumes they're robots or monsters at this point.

The same reason that this is noted as mistake

I like your version of the bridge shot, except the guy standing in the middle. I like the new panaling.

I put that shot specific for the overlap that the middle oficer gives to the shot. Overlap=depth

Angel can send a hi-res shot of the tunnel (which is static anyway), then the Falcon element just needs to be added after, innit? (possibly some interactive lighting on the wall?) Or am I simplifying that process too much? ;)

The shot i used it the excact same that ESB has already. only flipped and slight rotated. I add a bit more detail to the black areas too from the same image...

Interactive lighting was my first ideas there but i ended up with a more subtle way.

Just remembered to add that I always thought those individual 'white areas' seen at the cave entrance here seemed a poor continuity error considering that the opening itself is one big hole!  For extra continuity in the sequence, It would be neat to see a small asteroid passing overhead in any new starfield that Adywan puts there.

Well true. not sure it will look with a more open exit..

It might be also useful to have a check list of errors in the SE (not artistic changes but things like continuity fluffs and special effects bloopers) which can be ticked off if they have already been fixed.

Well i had some. Like  a rebel pilot is slipped when running while Luke and chewie star talking before hoth battle.

Stormtrooper's visible hand

ALso when the Rebels cheering when the transport is gone there is one woman that looks at the camera and she is like forced/bored to rise her hand.

I'm sure Ady welcomes all suggestions but at this point I could imagine it being very frustrating to get so far along only to have some really good idea pop up which means he has decide whether not to do it or rework a sequence in his outbox.

I have a talent leading others to frustration :P

I'm not sure about your 'mist' idea in the shot that follows, as I think I'd prefer that kept to the inside of the Slug itself.  However, it's difficult to guage just how far down in the hole the Slug actually is, but like Monroville, I remember suggesting that there could be a hint of the 'open mouth' at the bit seen in the distance in the cave shot he showed.

I wasnt sure either. I like the mouth idea but very subtle! No need for Rics there :)

But since Adywan has confirmed he plans to put 'retractable' teeth on his 'Slug mouth' version,

Not sure about that. i think that ady will not make a slug interior mouth.

P.S. Good work on those Asteroid scenes.

I really like your 'downwards' angle in this shot though Angel.  Nice idea.

Thanks :)

Nice idea. Ady confirmed that shitty painted asteroid is gone for sure :D

An other note when had points the "big one" he looks at the left when the MF moving from its own with a very robotic move. Also the big asteroid revealing/establishing shot is pretty weak. Considering ady took care the asteroid scenes long time ago i can sit comfortable to my throne and wait for more :)

PS:

Just Kidding :D

Edit 2:

Taking The idea from SWWR switching the angles in the death star escape i came to that conclusion that stylisticaly and visualy would be nicer if the angle is upper rather down. So the falcon seemed to enters from the up before switching again to normal one in the later shot.

Tried to eliminate the white spots replacing them with space. Assuming that the cave has gases and smoke(as we see later) some slight rays of light enhance the depth here.

Edit 3:

not sure about this but toying with the idea having smoke like we see in the later scenes:

Not too dense? maybe further? You get the picture :)

Just to clarify, the area I was referring to which ends in Vader being seen to go down steps is behind where those crewmembers are looking on here.  Where the steps led to was just barely out of sight here, but I always thought that the doorway to Vader's control quarters were just down there -

Which its get depressing how close are everything in a 20 Km ship :D

Im wondering where are the starbucks then.

Vaderios, there is indeed a momentary 'dimming' in this shot, and it's on the GOUT too.  It looks as if there was a deliberate (?) slight dimming of the lighting above the main walkway only.

So what do you think? requires fix? Or its a trick so the eye move off from the background?

Id love to see to some shots of executor hallways like tradefedation ones. continued till the infinity since the bridge appears to be in 2 places at the same(?)

Ady: did you fix the lights that are lit in one shot and in the other are off again?

here:

removed the bright spot on 3PO's arm.

I also added a redish tint to the back seats to simulate the redl ights that are behind them as we see in the previous shots

Edit: When the troops are ready to carry Needa's body the shot gets a weird darkening like vintage in several frames. Will this consider an error?

Not sure if two frames can tell the difference.

....this also happens to be the same kind of 'wider' angle that was used in this nearer Executor shot added to the SE  (it seems this won't be included in 'ESB:R' though, which is a pity, as I liked this particular shot, especially if the 'Executor' element had been 'colour-corrected'.  Who knows, perhaps Adywan may re-use these elements somewhere else eventually?....)

If you look closely that shot (better in HD)

You will notice that its just a cheap 2d element that has even bad cutout and antialiasing. ILM at its best

Ady has color correct it again to match the previous shots in the AVCHD.

It's a nice mock-up, but should the damage just be a bunch of scratches? They're seems to be alot, and scorch marks might look better.

Again stylised mockup to get the picture. The scotch marks wouldnt looked nice. Itried. But regardless the damage thing i know already that ady will not do it, since we see that destroyer many times later so it would be hell of work to add the damage but nice at the same time because it gets a character.

That would give it the same kind of 'narrow' aspect that is similar to this shot of when it exits the asteroid field  (apologies for the poor quality, as I couldn't find a better one of this on google) -

....but personally, I reckon the 'Executor's existing 'wider' angle of view still gives a far more impressive, 'larger' look overall for it's first proper reveal, as seen below, so I guess I prefer any 'artistic license' involved here -

Thats is one more reason to avoid Copy pastes and cheap flipped shots :(

If one suggests a heavier asteroid belt one must also suggest more impacts and heavy laser defense nay?

Considering the amount of damage we've sustained, they must have been destroyed.

Added: damage to SD's Hull. Shadow On the asteroid from the SD.

love to c a video mock up of that. Angel, possible u could take some scenes from the battle of Endor and make some mock ups? just to show the battle to be more tense than it seems to be.

I proposed earlier to show a shot that the SDs are stepping away and Executor unleashes a massive amount of firepower(hundreds lasers) that makes his presence with a more strong way.

A better excuse to shot him down since it stands there and look the battle from distance. We need more money shots in ROTJ.

How so? I got the answer that space is 3d dimentional when i proposed the millenium falcon shouldnt dodge back when the hyperdrive is back online.

There is no upside down i agree. But the question was why 2 multiple perspectives? Artstic liberation, Ok, my bad.

anyways.

More detail less dead blacks heavier asteroid belt

Also, the Executor is a different type of ship than the ISDs. Who says it needs to look the same in profile or whatever? The main point is to see how massive it is in relation to the other ships. They're using a physical model, so why would it be "wrong"?

They Forced 2 different perspectives into one shot. The model is just fine. But from that angle only the artistic liberation/license defines the "correct"
