The point tho is the execution of it.

I suggest someone to see how the shots of all the PT can be arranged so any showing of yoda can be eliminated an leave him only in rumors and talking.

For example in certain occasions we can roto out yoda, in others just change the editing and cutting him out. Tho most of the fan editors are struggling with the problem "runtime" and their edits can come too short. So there is the real trick isnt it? :) Apart PT have very coordinated sequences and because of CG all flows good cutting down major sequences and chopping others for the sake of the cut that will be a big problem.

I assume valuable reference is the already uploaded PT scripts so you can see where yoda appears and how these can be out or changed.

I think when the practical part comes in the foreground the real challenge begins. Im eager to listen possible solutions!

I like the approach.

Still for some reason the pod goes to a wrong path.

It should go away from the camera/viewscreen.

Adding a shot of gunners like in ROTS is out of question.

Maybe take some footage from ROTJ when piet and an other guy examines the shuttle. ROTJ have many inconsistence with ESB for the matter bridges. we can take that sequence without showing faces or even darken the uniforms and we can tie the two episodes with more familiar environments :)

Generaly ANH pop up from the rest of the OT episodes. ROTJ follows ESB. Maybe we can aim to that.

So taking reference from a more ESB looking to ANH converted bridge is an option i think. A dark bridge with red lights instead of a bright one with blue hues?

Or just take the shot of our first catch of the day and alter it. thats the basic idea.

Can anyone please elaborate where is the location of the two officers that are watching the escape pod leaving from Tantive?

Are they facing down like the gunners of millennium falcon and defying gravity?

Can i assume tho to a strictly horizontal star wars universe that this can happen?

Also from directing pov do you think that shot is necessary when we get the same info later in the movie?

Should I can add more escape pods gets destroyed so the officers have the dilemma and the shot stays?

Or maybe have them shooting at it but they leave it because the miss enough times and it has no life forms?

Well true but i dont have a problem with that.

Star wars manga shows actually the troopies shooting the jawas.

it can work as a del scene but we do have troopers(the fan film ) to do that dont we?

The difference between PT and OT is that when a blaster hits an other one it shows an exposion when in PT we see just a bit burnmark.

From that fact and only that showing violence is remarkable too. no blood references.

Less is more and by the fact that ANH's story actually convinces you that something bad happening rather TPM i prefer to open up the landscapes and the rooms so something bigger and oppened is there. I remember Lucas said that in OT everything is small and in PT everything is big and expanded.

I have that plan to do in SW and before the SE haters start bashing reconsider this..
