All this is moot because Adywan has said he will be keeping the galaxy as is. That said, I prefer Angel's mock-up. I always thought the original looked weird, even when I first saw it.

As it did for me, it doesn't look very good or make very much sense, and I love your mockup Angel. But I don't mind that the shot is staying the same. Its not a big deal.

But what about that nebula version, where did that come from? Has anyone else seen it? It bothers me far more than changes/lack of changes to the scene in Adywan's edit. :p

Here's something I've always wondered about the end of ESB.

In some books, at least those published after the SEs, there's this alternative shot of Luke, Leia, R2 and 3PO looking out from the medical frigate:

I've always wondered where it came from and why its so often used instead of the shot from the actual movie.

I actually like the concept of a nebula more than the fake-looking galaxy that's in the movie. I realize that Adywan's not going to do it, but perhaps some other film editor will try the concept. :)

Here's a few ideas for small ideas for ROTJ:

-Have some body parts fly off when Luke's lightsabre hits people on Jabba's sail barge

-Maybe some stragglers jump off before it explodes

-Jawas with the Banthas in the SE shot shot...

-...who come and watch the explosion from a distance.

-the briefing scene should be prequel-ized: darkened, some lights moving etc.

-the Home One hanger looks a little cramped

I agree with the idea of the space battle being closer to the throne room, after all Palpatine tells Luke to watch but he's too far to see anything!

Please don't touch the Tyderium shuttle, its my favorite craft in the movie!

ROTJ is my favorite movie of all time and besides the effects/coloration and the young Anakin ghost from 2004 DVD there isn't really anything I want changed/updated.

But Angel those mockups are gorgeous!

My parents have the issue of Time Magazine from when ROTJ came out it had a similar photo with GL in the middle of all these models may be the same shoot, I think I can find it.

My thoughts on the meteor thing are the same as Adywan's: its the same event seen twice, not that that ever happens again.

The first time I saw it, in 1997, I though it was 2 different events, but hey I was 11 :p

First of all, like everyone else I want to thank Adywan for his spectaular work on ANH and I'm looking forward to ESB.

While I realize it's much too late for this to have a real effect on the project, I'd like to call your attention to an interesting Web site on lightsabres, specifically the page on ESB errors: http://www.thelightsaber.com/web/Goofs/ESB/esbgoofs.htm

While Adywan's ANH edit addressed some, but not all, of the problems mentioned there in ANH, I was hoping these problems with the lightsabres could be taken into account for ESB and ROTJ.
