What’s the most pointless Wookieepedia article?
What’s the most pointless Wookieepedia article?
Redub Boba Fett to be Greedo seeking revenge.
Then it iris wipes to a ska rendition of the main theme.
Is say to leave hot water. I ask before going in if there’s hot water and he says yes. I go in and there’s no water. Wtf. Now I can’t start my day and have to wait an hour or so.
Old or new EU, although unless you state otherwise, I will assume you’re referring to Legends.
I just realized I’m always inclined to cast as wide as possible on the dating pool without thinking if I actually want to date these people. I feel like there’s something deeply wrong with me in this sense. Like I need the affirmation. I think it’s just post-rejection talking.
For me the two big issues with SC38 Reimagined are the shakey cam and the lens flares. Not only they just a bad thing in general but they stand out like a sore thumb in the context of this 70s film. If those can be rectified I’ll be happy.
“You see at the time we didn’t really know what a robot voice would sound like so we just let Anthony use his voice but with modern technology we can have the robots voiced by actual robots, and I that’s really a testament to how far the medium since I made those films in the 70s and 80s.”
That’s strange because it never bothered me while Leia being Luke’s sister does for the same reason.
I tried complimenting someone and they took it as an insult.
Oh yeah, that’s by far the worst moment in the entire Saga.
So do you plan on removing all allusions to the Clones being on the Republic’s side? Not only does that sound like a nightmare but I just don’t see the point.
I wonder if footage of younger Christopher Lee could be used as a flashback?
Years ago I tried using footage of him as Dracula. Not sure if it was any good. What kind of flashback did you have in mind?
That’d be a useful reference!
The what?
I guess Barty is much higher ranking, especially after reviving Voldemort.
Here’s an idea: replace Scabior with Barty Crouch Jr… Just deepfake David Tennant’s face over Nick Moran’s and voila! Doesn’t change much, I know, but it could help tie the films together.
A really ambitious project would incorporate Grievous in all 3 somehow, like the guy who made him Maul.
Maybe…there is a way to incorporate grievous even earlier. Maybe into the ATOC droid army. Or even further into the Neomoidian army as a lowly TK4 Roger Roger droid who wants to be more.
Or even more ambitious…make him Darth Jar Jar after all.
If I had the deepfake skills, I would edit in Maul and Grievous and Dooku to meet.
Grievous could be leading the droid army in TPM in his natural Kaleesh form, then shows up rebuilt in AotC after being aboard the Donut when it explodes. Really, though, any such additions are beyond any of our skills.
Really, the most we could hope for is maybe adding him to the background of the Separatist meeting in AotC.
Here’s a spreadsheet I made. It covers all of Clone Wars S1-6 and Rebels. I have notes indicating which episodes are part of which characters’ arcs. The Smudger movie edits and CW fortune cookies are included as a bonus. Arcs that were planned but cancelled with the show when Star Wars was acquired by Disney are included with light grey for those that were adapted into another medium and dark grey for those that never saw the light of day in any form. I haven’t seen Resistance or CW S7 so their documentation is very rudimentary and incomplete.
Wouldn’t audiences just put two and two together and figure out when Dooku meets Sidious that Sidious was behind Dooku’s actions in TPM?
My plan was to leave it in unaltered since Maul is still Sidious’s apprentice, but I guess you do have a point about Sidious not being established. Still, maybe it can work.
Based on my test shot, I’d say replacing Sidious with Dooku is perfectly doable, so long as we can find a good enough voice impressionist for him. Also, the dialog introducing Darth Maul would need to be trimmed to leave out the part about him being his apprentice.
Still, I can’t help but wonder if it’d be too strange for Dooku to be hooded. Oh well, I guess.
For Tydirium, I love you’ve done with the sun on the horizon!
For Endor, you tried to bring out the greens, you really did, but the result is a nightmare. It’s giving me Harry Potter color correction PTSD.
For TROS there is no way around the spirit transfer ritual. It’s an integral part of the plot, so discussion of its removal is moot.
Except you could easily make it so that sucking the lifeforce of the dyad was Palpatine’s plan all along, allowing you to remove any mention of soul transfer.
Would it be worth adding Palpatines transmission from Fortnite? That would make a good intro
We’ve discussed it extensively by now, but seeing as it’s the last film in the Saga, maybe we could break tradition the way I did with the end credits being quiet. Basically, open the film with Palpatine’s message interrupting the crawl. Wait no, that doesn’t sound good. Maybe what could work is instead of panning down to a ship or planet, the camera stays still on the starfield as Palpatine’s message begins playing. Queue a montage of the First Order, Resistance, and various planets listening to it.
But in all honesty, unless you wanna use it as a way to cut the opening lightspeed skipping scene, you might as well just do like Hal and throw into the briefing scene.
Even blue blaster-fire has been more associated with the clones/stormtroopers.
Actually, since the PT they’ve been pretty good at giving good guys blue and bad guys red. Case in point: the Resistance fire blue bolts.
I’m really debating whether I should use the purple lightsaber scene, because I can’t see the colour haha.
Personally, I think the purple saber is silly, but that’s because I like sticking purely to RGB for saber colors. Throwing random purple sabers in the mix I find confusing and visually jarring.
Idea for a way to tie the saga together: Adding audio from Jedi: Fallen Order and CW03 to the voices-of-Jedi-past scene to make Rey become a Jedi Knight.
No subtlety. I don’t like it.
Honestly, if people are so worried about consistency in Force lightning color, why not making it red in the other movies too? Oh, I guess that’d be way too much work, wouldn’t it. And god forbid we edit this site’s namesake. /s
