There was a point during that film where they're in the tent at night. I mean, Ennis is outside under a blanket at first, and Jack is in the tent. But it gets cold, so Jack invites Ennis in the tent. Then late at night, one takes the others hand, and then BOOM! They both quickly unzip their jeans and Ennis starts giving Jack anal sex. It was quite a shocking moment! And then the next morning, they both keep denying that they are gay and try to avoid the subject, but just end up fucking again.

Yeah, that was a city in Halloween. John Carpenter (the film's director) grew up and went to the college (Western Kentucky University) in Bowling Green.

And prohibition? Well, that's a good question. It does make me wonder how they can get away with outlawing it here.

No, for the most part, people here honestly don't really hate either. And even though all the conservatives say they don't drink, they still go to Bowling Green (a town not far from here where it is legal to buy) to buy it.

I know there is still good in him. But, unfortunately, we won't get any more films from the good Lucas because that Lucas died when he was young, and won't be back until he dies and becomes a ghost.

Yeah, that was a cool idea he had going for Young Indy. From the way everyone involved talks, it was a very enjoyable, very creative experience to work on. IMO, that's what Lucas should do with this show too. It should be a huge collaboration.

I don't think you understand. Beer stores and strip joints are illegal here. There are a LOT of people that would like to open such stores, but all attempts to get rid of that law have failed. The conservatives in the town are preventing it. They rig the vote in their favor every time the issue comes up.

I finally saw it last night. I had read sveral reviews that bashed it a lot. But, after viewing it, I thought it was well-written, well-acted, and... yes, well-directed (dodges tomatoes thrown from all the Paul W.S. Anderson haters). I was surprised at how it has similar themes as Blade Runner, with Todd trying to regain his humanity and all. It also had a nice gritty feel to it. And it was cool to see some of those BR references in there as well.

It was hilarious. One time I was at a gas station not long ago, and these travelers from somewhere up north had stopped for gas and food. They asked the worker "So, where is the closest strip joint and beer store?" When they were informed that our town does not have these, one of the men replied "What the fuck kind of town doesn't have strip joints and beer stores?"
