Lucas screws up everything. If it weren't for that quick retcon in the new essential chronology book, the Droids series would have been kicked out of continuity as well.

That is my POV as well. Lucas only said it was the Death Star in a half-assed attempt to explain away a continuity error. It is NOT the Death Star. It is the Death Star prototype built at Maw Installation. And I say that scene takes place long after the other events of ROTS.

I've always wanted to see Lucasfilm release complete, untouched season set DVDs of the Droids and Ewoks series. Hopefully they will one day...

But in the mean time, I wish someone would attrempt a preservation project on these. Some kid (Codester) back during the summer was going to, but he seems to have disappeared for now. He was apparently planning to use the VHS tapes and DVDs, etc for the release.

OMG!!! I saw it last night!!!!!!!

I was flipping through the channels, and noticed that Harrison Ford was going to be on Conan, so I thought, "Cool, maybe some new Indy 4 announcements." And what did I see?

To put it simply, I nearly had a heart attack I was so excited!

Sadly, I was unable to record it, since I was caught off guard.

But maybe SKot or someone recorded it and will post that segment.
