FOX wouldn't do it without Lucas' approval. I don't think the 2004 DVD's are off the shelf yet, so I don't know what exactly they wish to accomplish by this.

I still want a CG Yoda in ESB and ROTJ to tie the two trilogies together and make Yoda look consistant, no matter what order they were made in. CG looks better, pure and simple. CG will always rule over a puppet! It's not as static! I want the old Yoda out!!

I hear that. Although in my experience the person in question actually did save themselves when they decided that they wanted too. But until that point, there was no helping them.

Well, see, I can't do that. I do meet one criteria of this site: I want the OOT on DVD. Why? For preservation purposes of the original. Unlike most of the big posters here, I don't have that kind of nastalgia towards the OT. I (gasp) see the PT and OT as equal. I saw TPM first, instead of the SE's, so I have absolutely no nastalgia, even SE nastalgia towards them. The prequel trilogy, however, I do have a little nastalgia towards.
