I'm going to post something here that I think might be apprpriate. I found this at millenniumfalcon.com:

I especially liked the post where the guy talked about going all the way to Atlanta because that was the only 70mm theatre around, not unlike our efforts to see this movie in digital.

In sum, I think you'll agree that the more things change, the more they stay the same. And that this is a worthy read the night before/day of the opening of ROTS.

And, yes the internet was around. Only it wasn't widely accessible until 10 years ago or so."
