Changes you want (or don't want) to the 2007 archival editions

No, it's not "we know where he goes." We don't know where he goes unless we've seen the OT first. The deal with the Yoda scene is that it shows a primary character going into exile. We see where Obi-Wan goes, we also see where Bail Organa goes, but not Yoda. I think when he sees the saga as a whole, he will add that scene back in. And the rebellion scenes did such an incredible job tying ROTS to ANH, that he would be crazy not to add them back in.

Episode III wasn't a masterpiece. It was heavily flawed, ridicoulsy foces on action and CG crap. Not enough chemistry between the characters. It really was a disappointment, but a good film non the less

The opening shot was 2001-esque, in terms of quality. With drums beating to set the tone, the Republic cruiser directly below, and Obi-Wan and Anakin flying in unison, man, that was pure brilliance!

Now, I, II, and VI were flawed. They just lacked something, and I'm not sure what.

The thing is though, he did something few are able to do. He made exactly the movies he wanted to make. Nothing was holding him back, and he had full creative control. No studios were telling him what people wanted to see, and even when they were, he told them he didn't care, becuase he was telling his story. And I can respect that.

Was that really the first Death Star in ROTS?

You have a balanced view of the EU, which I appreciate. Most here seem to have a grudge against it. Star Wars: Galaxies is player controlled. Only the basic story elements are considered canon by Lucasfilm, becuase it varies as far as the stories go.

Now, with Star Trek, I can accept that the books and such are not canon. That being becuase Paramount Pictures doesn't consider them canon. Lucasfilm, however, does consider all of the EU works canon, therefor I call them canon. It is fine to have a personal canon, I'm merely going by Lucasfilm when I refer to it.
