Yeah, but I've heard of some of the editors here superimposing fullscreen over the part of the wisescreen that they wish. ocpmovie did used technique when recreating the original Jabba scene with that Irish guy as Jabba.

OK, Ok, I'll admit, I have been a real pain in the ass. I'm not the easiest person to get along with, but I'll try to improve my act. Jay once gave me a word of advice. He said something along the lines of "Jimbo was given a second chance, but he blew it, and now he's gone. It was a shame, becuase he could be OK at times." Jay was polite in allowing me back, and warned me not to get into any flame wars, as I was not going to magically be welcomed back. And that advice I have foolishly avoided up until now. So, if you're willing to forget the past, I will be willing to improve my act.

Was that really the first Death Star in ROTS?

Cassidy, I want to thank you for taking me seriously. Thanks for the advice. Of Kubrick's films, I have seen Full Metal Jacket, Eyes Wide Shut, and 2001. His style of storytelling and camerawork is what interests me. You are correct in your assumption that I am just starting to discover many of these things people call "classics," and I must agree with them. All people have to start out somewhere, as all video experts here once did.

I really would like to get along with people here, it's just that I know I have an attitude problem that naturally pisses people off. I truly have made mistakes in what I've said, especially when I left this site a month ago. I have different tastes in what I consider great. As I explained before, I can understand the wish to preserve the original versions of the original trilogy, that's just not that imnportant to me. I don't care for those versions. No offense, but I really don't care for those versions. It really is a different perspective you take when you watch the beginning of something, then the end, then middle as I have. It's sort of a Pulp Fiction-like experience.

From Wikipedia:

"Teenybopper is a facetious term used to describe a stereotypical teenager, usually a female.

The teenybopper is seen to conform to the trends of the moment. He or she will generally dress the same, talk the same and act the same way as their friends. They are easily influenced by peer pressure, and as a result will often be afraid to voice any unique opinions and beliefs.

Female teenyboppers are recognised by their skimpy clothing, while male teenyboppers tend to favour the outfits worn by hip-hop artists."

Um, no. And that last part cracks me up.

Sometimes do you feel like you should give up on the cause?

I was listening to one of those audiocasts from the OS a while back, and Rick McCallum was talking about how in the early 90's when George first approached him with his project for the prequels, he told him of how a lot of their long-time fans would be upset becuase the films were not going to adjust their current age and mindset, but were instead going to be made in the exact style as the very films they grew up with, which was going to be jarring for them.

Hmmm....

(By the way, today is Nov 17, the 27th anniversary of the holiday special.)

YOU'RE RIGHT.

You probably did not know this, but we live in a Multi-verse. That is, there are Multiple Universes, each with their own version of Earth and each Earth has its own version of the people of our earth. Some people as the people of our earth, but some are different. For example in one Universe(we will call it the Earth-2 Universe), exists different version of Warlber. The Warbler of Earth-2 is the most powerful living thing in the Galaxy. That being said . . .

*A portal from Earth-2 to our earth opens up and out steps the Warbler of Earth-2. The Warbler of Earth-2 uses his super powers to bring the Warbler of our unverse back to life and repairs his damaged psyche . Then the Wabler of Earth-2 beats up Dayv, Bossk, and Ricardo. Finally The Warbler of Earth-2 returns to his universe and the portal disappears. One last thing: In restoring the Warbler of our Universe back to life, the Warbler of Earth-2 passed along small amount of his powers . . .*

I'm Back!

Did Doc Brown help ya' out, Warbler?
