And the holiday special still has the original cast in it, so I gues that is a plus for you too.

HA! That reminds me. In Chapter 22 of the Clone Wars series, you know where Anakin returns to Padme aftera big space battle? Well, right before the scne changes, it is night, and, maybe a second before the scene changes, you see a single light go off in the building. Paul Rudish hints in the DVD commentary that this point is where Luke and Leia are conceived.

Quinlan Vos survived Republic #83. According to the head of Dark Horse comics, Lucas himself told the writers not to kill him off. This report has made me and others over at TF.N wonder if Lucas plans to use Vos in the TV series. It really doesn't surprise me, as it has been known for a long time that Lucas likes to read the Star Wars comics.

Well, in that Sansweet interview, he explains that they want to make something that everyone will love and that will appeal to as many people as possible. And McCallum has said he wants to explore many exciting storylines and attempt to answer all of the fan questions over the years. This makes me feel a little better about the prospect of the show.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's how it'll be, cause that's what he did with Harrison Ford for the Young Indy chronicles. And if Vader does make such an appearance, I hope it is very badass, and it is in the last episode or something. They could ave the very last shot of the show of him standing directly behind the door of the Tantive IV, ready to blow it open.

That's what happened to me as well. When I was about 11 or 12, I suddenly reallized "What a minute, things aren't quite as they seem. The world is completely screwed up." That is the main reason why I have always been quite anti-social - because I understand how a lot of people are, and I see the sillyness of their ways, so I would rather not be around them because of that.

No ricardo. I am not arguing anything. I am giving my viewpoint, based on the fact thsat I have always been intrigued by the way in which societies act. You know, all of those silly little ideas every culture has, and all of the pointless restrictions and ideas every society has?
And no, my post was never intended to convince anyone of anything. My post was intended to give my viewpoint on the issue. I posted that because I enjoy such discussions on social issues, and it was a good time to bring out my opinion on the masturbation issue Nanner brought up.

The same goes for the fulfillment of other needs/urges (depending on your perspective) such as masturbation. It's one of those private things that you just keep to yourself. It's not pleasant to talk about, so people don't, and let's face it- the world is not 100% mature. People are often uncomfortable talking about sex, intimacy, what have you. It is partially for the sake of these people that you don't talk about these things, and partially because of cultural conditioning.

Exactly what I suspected. People are uncomfortable with themselves, therefore they don't want to discuss themselves. People are ashamed that they have certain human features and characteristics. I will never understand what there is to be so ashamed of. But I'm 110% sure that social conditioning plays a large role in it all. It's amazing to me how so many concepts of being human (such as masculine/feminine ideas, sexuality, religion, norms, taboos, etc.) don't even exist to a person when they are born. And it never would if not for social conditioning. All of this pops up when a child begins to grow and be informed of these things by parents, friends, etc. It's like language, accents, etc.; It's all a part of the culture that you live in that determines what is acceptable. The community determine what is acceptable (many times based on traditional ways of thought), rather than individuals determining such things for themselves. That is what upsets me. Becuase of this, individuality and new or different ideas of living seem to be greatly frowned upon in our society.
