SPECIAL NOTE (POST SCRIPTUM)

perhaps any one of you (concerned) noticed, but all that began when I proposed Ice creams helped by a picture to calm down a discussion between CPX3 and Frink on a matter that should have belonged to a time long forgotten in which I was the subject... And even you could note that CPX was defending me and showing Frink he may have been wrong through an issue with me...

... I interrupted this discussion with humor, whilst someone else who would have been concerned would have enjoyed very much such a settling of scores in his favour, cause - and I hope you'll open your fucking hears you two guys: I DON'T CARE (and I never did) !

Thanks.

PS: That's why one should never accuse someone else of "trolling".

PPS to C3Pix: I never "left" (assuming we can leave a virtual place) the Off Topic section because of Frink as you seem to believe since the begining.

I think the "disturbing" posts in the politic threads shown well how far some care of the subjects that were discussed, and shown equally all the relativity the "seriousness" of some contributions would deserve, mostly the most serious. It's perhaps "only my opinion", though it appeared that it was not only mine, and as far as everybody seems to be (originally) invited to express his opinion there, what to say ? Some kinds of expressions are forbidden ?

"Please, could you go easy with photos that slow down my computer when it loads a page?"... Perhaps would have been enough.

The Off-Topic is by nature an Off Topic place, and if someone turn really ridiculous through his acting, everyone will judge by himself. It is no need to call for such a current discussion (that last for weeks) to point these things or to asks for others opinion.

I have no judgement about what did Bingo or Freak, nor C3PX's reaction, excepted what I just said above. But yeah, Bingo's images have sometime subtle under-meanings, so it may make some wonder why he posted that. Hehe.

This is not The Most Excitingest Thread Ever.

Depends for who. I actually think it may be. Perhaps members you can read, and those you can't but lurk here sometime are more cultivated, or more after interesting threads than you think. ;)

Anyway, the Kirlian photography: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kirlian_photography

If you can find more about, it's really interesting all the experiences that have been made from it.

Incredible, jaw dropping awesome!!!

But I do think those ships look a bit too small. It's hard to tell the scale...

The transport is a lot bigger than it was in the original. Plus there is some background activity to add yet that will give the scale.

If you allow me, I think it's a difficult shot. The one bellow looks bigger, not only because it is more far, but perhaps it's a matter of horizon lign. I don't know the real scale of that ship but it is obvious to me seeing the new shot that a man will have a hard time crounching under it. I would see it bigger then, or if same size, placed a little further from it's actual lign.

... Sorry, I know it's hard. However it's not as important to my eyes. Only if you want people look at your edit with a microscope ! ;) ... But it's beautiful anyway.

EDIT: What I would try personnaly may be to make the landing gears a bit longer (edit) with the ship a little higher from its shadow... Like the original shot.

The Empire Strikes Back IMPERIAL "AUDIOPHILE" EDITION - Restored & Remastered Score - J. Williams & LSO (Released)
Time

- SAMPLES -

DRAWING THE BATTLE LINES (Set 1, CD1)

DARTH VADER'S TRAP (aka the "Carbon Freeze" Suite; Set 2, CD2)

HYPERSPACE (Set1, CD2)

If you know the previous version of the "Audiophile Edition", you can compare the new EQ's for the Session mixes, and appreciate the new balance level for "Departure Of Boba Fett" wich missed some "juice" on the left before. This correction allowed a neat editing besides.

I hope you'll forgive me to have left in place the LP layer's end on this last track (end wich was originally lifted from the end of 9M3). That may be one of the only "error" on the whole set, with an unrestored pitch issue (it seems) on a few seconds at the end of the Alt March Set 1, CD2, tr 21, 12M4.

THE OT SOUNDTRACKS SALVAGE - SWESBROTJ -"remastered"(so far)+ LP's (Released)

Thanks a lot for these explanations. That enlightens my mind about how turns the mind of "sharing" an effort (contrary of "normal" stuff) through the internet. That also explains why there have not been more than a couple of feedbacks in there since a long time...

... and someone going by "CBA" (your moniker but backwards?) posted them more than two months ago

A fan ?... Or the sign of a world upside down ?

All this doesn't help nor encourage my efforts at all. However I wish my efforts on these soundtracks will inspire others trying to make these better themselves from the original sources.
