Don't know if this is the thread for this but... I heard a rumor of a 2001 SE DVD coming in the fall. As well as other classic Kubrick titles. Anyone know anything about this?
I have uploaded my Prequel fan-edits on Demonoid.com if anybody is interested. I know there are a tonn of edits out there, but these are my first attempt at editing and I thought I'd share 'em.
Episode I The Phantom Menace 20th Century Mark Edition Episode II Attack of the Clones 20th Century Mark Edition Episode III Revenge of the Sith 20th Century Mark Edition
What would be best would be to hand deliver the box with all kinds of media present. Instead of just mailing it, make it a nice "presentation". Any volunteers?
How about this? When watching a non-anamorphic DVD on a widescreen tv with the black bars on all sides, does this mean you are NOT losing any picture due to the overscan of the tv?
Well, someone who is close to Lucasfilm to keep the cost low. Everybody can mail their discs along with some cash to help pay for the big shipment. Or maybe we create a PayPal account and start collecting or something. I'd volunteer to do it, but I'm in Canada, so it will cost a lot to ship to California.
Ultimatly, making them unplayable is beyond the point. Maybe just mark them up with a sharpie on the label side so Lucas can't re-sell them, but so they can be donated or something.
I am not really sure about three. I think it's Anchor Bay.
How about Rob Zombie writing/directing the new Halloween film? What do you think? I read that it is going to be a remake, or a re-telling or something.
Does anyone know if there is a new Halloween II DVD in the works? ie: with the TV footage, deleted scenes etc. This year is the 25th anniversary, but so far I have heard squat!
I'm a little dubious about John Lithgow as Yoda, but we'll see...
He does a damn fine job IMO.
Jenny, what you said about putting on the headphones and curling up in bed and listening every night, I did exactly that just a few months ago. Two episodes a night while lying in bed. Star Wars, Empire & Jedi. It is great to experience a little Theatre of the Mind, especially when it is Star Wars!
