And you still get so upset at inanimate objects that you resort to smashing them?

It doesn’t take much to make me extremely angry.

Don’t put that on your online dating profle…

Come to think of it, do put it on your online dating profile.

I don’t do online dating. But it’s not something I bring up on first dates.

You honestly should look into managing it in some way. It’s not a healthy thing man.

Probably, I used to channel it into music and fighting but now I channel it into destroying priceless NES cartridges. By the way, those things are durable because that damn Zelda II still works. I won’t be playing it anytime soon though.

I mean the price is like 14-30 bucks.

But yeah. Get into some management techniques again. Write music or get into martial arts. Shit’s good.

Ha, my preferred method of “martial arts” was just fighting until one couldn’t get back up (which was usually me). I don’t have the stomach for that now. That was a long time ago though, and I don’t live Life in the Fast Lane anymore. I’m fine; it’s an inherited trait but I keep my composure well.

Shit like that will still manifest in relationships and family life, though.

Just think about it! All I’m sayin!

I get it, and I appreciate the advice. I’m open to my friends, family, and lover and they get it and don’t mind.

That’s good at least.

I just used to fly off the handle when I was in my teens, and it’s embarrassing to look back on.

It just occurred to me that the first ever transgender video game character in a majorly successful video game was in Super Mario Bros. 2.

Ostro was the character’s name by the way.

The original game calls him Ostro and another character is called Birdo. Very strange.

Wasn’t Ostro just Birdo’s previous name before the gender change? Ostro being the “boy name” and Birdo the “girl name”? I only have the All-Stars version and don’t have the manual, so I wouldn’t know.

In the credits of both NES and SNES versions his name is Ostro. Another thing’s name is Birdo. The instructions label him as Ostro with the caption: “He thinks he is a girl”.

He’s not transgender, he’s just a crossdresser. 😛

It was a translation error. They switched them around. The same happened to another pair of monsters.

I see. He’ll always be Ostro to me though.

I wouldn’t mind Link being an actual character this time around. I know for the longest we were supposed to project ourselves onto Link but having him at least talking what freshen things up a bit.

Be careful what you wish for…

I wouldn’t mind if Link was annoying at first but went through an arc throughout the game. The only problem is that I can’t imagine Link as an actual person so whatever personality he might have could seem off.

You know, it really is an excellent game. From what I’ve read online, I’m not the only one whose inner psychopath was brought out by this game, but once I got through a couple bosses I really started getting the hang of things. It was probably one of the most fulfilling victories over a video game I’ve ever had.
