Their sales are dropping but not enough for them to warrant…being decent to the consumer. I haven’t bought a CoD game in years but if their sales dropped enough they would have to cease the douchebaggary.

Let’s hope this Infinite Warfare backlash will translate into poor sales.

I’m playing through LOZ: Skyward Sword for the 5th time. It’s been 3 or 4 years since I played it last.
I still don’t get some peoples complaints about the controls. In my previous 4 times playing (2 100% runs, normal, then Hero mode) I’ve never had any problems with the controls at all.
I do have a few complaints, but I still have no problem putting Skyward Sword in my top 5 Zelda titles. It may even claim the top spot!

Ovarian of Time and Majora’s Mask are my favorite games of all time. With texture packs they barely even seem outdated.

Alttp is actually my favorite game.

You mean the 3DS versions or a mod? If you mean a mod it’s something I’ve never heard of before…

Lmao my phone always auto corrects ocarina to ovarian as if it wasn’t a word.

And it’s sort of a mod for emulators (I own and legally ripped the game myself) that replaces all the textures in the game with downloadable (in some cases high definition) texture packs made by fans.

I’ve only played the original Legend of Zelda and Windwaker. I didn’t get to experience it immediately when it came out, since it was in my infancy, but the original Zelda was just such an incredible game. It was kind of the blueprint for open-world free roaming games.

Very neat! I tracked down a texture pack for either Duke Nukem 3d or Doom quite some time ago. It was very similar. I tend to play the original graphics though, being the nostalgic old fool that I am. As much as I love seeing updated graphics, I love playing the old ones; I did this with the Halo Combat Evolved and Halo 2 remasters, as well as even Mario All Stars, which was awesome but just didn’t quite beat the originals. Again, this is all purely motivated out of nostalgia for me.

I can’t wait for the upcoming Legend of Zelda: Link’s Adventure in Development Hell. Game’s been delayed like 3 times now.

Hopefully they’ll have all the time they need to make it great though. I’d take delays over a launch like Rome II: Total War in which everything is broken.

If I was playing on a tube tv or computer monitor I’d probably go for original but I have my pc connected to a 65 inch hdtv and the enhanced graphics just look amazing and immersive.

Good point. Haha, I play all old video games on a tube TV. I play the Doom games and Duke 3d on my old desktop too.

The Zelda series deserves a really good game, so I’m happy to see it delayed as long as needed, especially is the NX is an actual decent console.

I’d much rather console companies stop buying titles for exclusives and just license stuff to PC though. Then we wouldn’t have to worry about console junk.

I’m always a generation behind for cost reasons. I just avoid the hype about modern generation games until I upgrade. Snes-GameCube era will always be my favorite. I’m only just now gearing up for the wiiu.

Don’t bother. The GameCube is and will always be better than the Wii/WiiU.

Me too, being a child of the 80’s, I spent a many many hour playing that game and occasionally blowing into the end of the gold cartridge. I’d kill to have the original LOZ ported to my PS4.

It’s kind of sad, but they deserve it. I really enjoyed COD back in the MW and WAW days. After that it was OK but once they did this futuristic Titanfall stuff it just fell apart. They’re remastering COD4 but I see no reason to buy it for $80, especially since it only has half of the maps.

They lost me at Ghosts. I enjoyed MW and Black Ops II, but I longed for the WAW and the WWII games. I think it was BOII that ventured into 60’s Cuba, which was fun and awesome to me. I prefer the historical real world stuff to all that zonky space warfare crap. Always wished they’d go back and completely overhaul the old Call of Duty games for a re-release. I could NEVER get into anything close to science fiction in the way of video games, except Star Wars. I loved the WWII era stuff, after all it was COD foundation. In recent years, I got addicted to BF4 in lieu of COD. I especially loved the teamwork, huge maps, ever changing battlefield, and game mechanics. But they too kind of lost me at BF: Hardline. Not only the lack of any real developments, but the weird political propaganda in the story line and the what I felt were inferior maps and modes in the online compared to BF4 turned me off. I’ll probably go in on the BF1, but I had never thought about a WWI games so it may be interesting.
