It could be Qui-Gon Jinn?

If he never existed, maybe we might have some prequels about you know, Anakin and Ben’s friendship… like we all thought they would be.

Nah, it was not Qui-Gon Jinn’s fault at all. The friendship should have been shown in AOTC and ROTS but instead Anakin was an annoying jerk. So, Hayden-played Anakin is likely the worst character.

What a waste of a villain.

What is he supposed to be anyway? A new kind of cyborg consisting of a droid enhanced by a human lung? Is the lung the force bearer?

He’s a Kaleesh that was transformed into a cyborg. Pretty much the only parts that remain of his original body are his eyes, brain, and the rest of his organs.

He’s a Kaleesh

I stopped reading right there, as I had literally never heard this word until now.

OK. Basically another Vader with more stuff damaged/replaced. Since the lung obviously doesn’t work properly either, I would have replaced that as well.

If the lung itself is the force bearer that might be the reason to keep it.

Silly, but… well.

He’s not force sensitive, so that’s a good point. It’s clear the lung wasn’t working correctly, so they should’ve replaced it.

After they got done operating on him the first time and wheeled him in front of a mirror, he probably decided then and there to avoid any more surgical procedures at all costs.

Why even keep the lungs if he can clearly survive in space without them?

The brain still needs oxygen. He can clearly function in a vacuum for a brief period.

There should be enough oxygen in the bloodstream to operate that long. That is what “held his breath” meant.

Yes, but being mostly cybernetic means not catching your death of cold. 😉

And most people don’t have clawed feet to walk along on a spaceship hull either.

Lord Kaan:

I hate this mothafucka. His “solution” to the Sith’s faults being equality among the Sith is beyond asinine. There is no equality among Dark Siders as domination is integral to the nature of the Dark Side and powerful beings who solely wield it have aspirations that always fixate on domination. Kaan essentially made them like the Jedi. Also him abandoning the Darth title for the sake of not causing friction is about as bitch made as it gets. In addition to that a pre prime Darth Bane made him look utterly pathetic on multiple occasions in front of the Brotherhood and he didn’t to a damn thing. Pathetic.

How can you hate Poe? Oscar Isaac is so damn sexy with those eyes and that lip biting thing he does.

Word. Also he was pretty damn entertaining so I look forward to seeing him develop more and that lip biting thing to be a signature of his.

I believe in canon he volunteered to be turned into a cyborg, and it was done over several years, at least according to these statues that show him at different stages of the process;

In Legends, however, his ship was bombed by Dooku and he was turned into Grievous to “save his life”. It’s very possible in Legends that he just didn’t want his lungs fixed after what was done to him initially, not sure what the reason is in canon, though.
