The Random Star Wars Pics & GIFs Thread

Frink suggested the creation of this thread. As he is the unspoken lord and master of this forum, I’ve decided to take his advice to heart.

I don’t know if the “no image-only posts” rule still applies to this thread; just in case it does, try to add some text to go along with your random SW pic/gif of choice.

To kick things off:

I can no longer call myself a Star Wars fan. I’m sick of the same played-out aesthetics/tropes being remixed/regurgitated time-&-time again; I’m sick of the deteriorating characterization/worldbuilding which have been in play since 1983; I’m sick of the toxic fanboys from all ideological camps; I’m sick of the capitalist pigs who refuse to allow this IP into the public domain where it rightly belongs. So while I may still admire the first two films for their technical achievements and characters, I’m no longer capable of enjoying Star Wars in any capacity due to the reasons delineated above.

As the unspoken lord and master of this forum (wait, what?), I can assure you image-only posts are fine.

No image-only posts unless the image has a direct bearing on the topic at hand and it adds value to the discussion.

Well, it’s going to be hard to upstage Han solo punching a ferret, but here’s my contribution anyway;

“The Adventures of Tintin and his Taun Taun”.

Or, even better, Tintin as a Taun Taun;

^That is unquestionably gorgeous. If it were at all possible, I’d made it part of my personal canon.

I figured this was appropriate since they’re planning yet another Indy film. One of these days something like this is bound to happen.
