I guess there are several models out there (maybe Ming knows some) that can have Leia's hoth suit and ady can manage to eliminate the famous error in the han-leia kiss scene.

Agree with the sentiments above. Ady, my thoughts are with you. My mom was diagnosed two years ago and it just hits you like a brick wall.

That's been fixed, but I don't think that's the "famous" error Vaderios is referring to.

ady, are you going to ad music to the lightsaber fight? I for one liked the way the fight is quiet until the end when the music kicks in for the emotional high moment.

I have stated many times that i won't be adding any music that wasn't already in the movie

The "arm around Han" error will have to remain as it can't be fixed. Filming a double wouldn't work either, even just to replace an arm. Some things just can't be fixed. Ad i know there are going to be people moaning that some of the errors remain but quite frankly i don't give a damn.

One error i'm really surprised no one has ever mentioned is the 2004 imperial insignia replacement monstrosity. Not only does the badge shift places between shots but when the officer turns the badge jumps all over the place and is one of the worse pieces of motion tracking for digital replacement in the movie.

i've fixed this and made the motion as he turns smoother so it doesn't look like the badge is jumping all over the place.

We don't know the full extent of Dad's cancer as yet but we know that once treatment begins i'm going to have to be caring for him. So i need to get this edit finished and out the way as soon as i can. I'm working all the hours i can finishing the video side of things while working on the miniatures and costumes etc. I'm still in desperate need of donations to get this thing finished. It's going to cost me even more for materials after Xmas when this bloody government introduce the VAT rise in January. Delivery charges and everything will rise. So if i can the remaining materials before Jan then it would be great.

And sorry to anyone who has been emailing or PMing me recently and haven't had a reply. I will get around to answering them whenever i can, but with no Internet access at my dads it isn't easy and it will take a while so please be patient.

Interesting about the badges. At first, I was thinking 'I wouldn't have noticed that because I haven't seen the 2004 version anyway.' (lots of opportunities, as Spike airs the trilogy ad nauseum!) But.........isn't your AVCHD based on hi-def airings of the 2004 version? Is their "fix" in there? Sorry if I should know this already. :p

Though I know it will be tough at times, it's great that you're willing to take care of your dad. When my mother took care of her mother, my uncle...her own son...did NOTHING. Retired and visited maybe once or twice a year, despite only being a couple of hours away. I guess what I'm getting at is that it's nice that your dad has someone. I think if my mother hadn't agreed to become my grandmother's caretaker, she would have died years ago.

Ady put this back to its original state in his AVCHD as it was a 1997 SE reconstruction. I'm not sure how he did it, my bet would be that he rotoscoped that part of the picture back from one of the anamorphic 97 SE broadcast captures (TB or GKAR).
