Neat behind-the-scenes shots there adywan. Those trees should look great in the new backdrop, and good to see that the 'cabling' details are coming along nicely on your 'Hoth base' interior now, too.

Hmmm so how will you get that moss stringing vine effect going???
Never did much with models myself but have always admired good works of art but I would imagine frayed string could work in some capacity?
Anyway I don't have a clue when it comes to models but It is certainly very exciting to see these types of things being done.

As far as I am concerned Ady, those (baby) trees were delivered directly from Dagobah - that's how real they look. The attention to detail on everything there is incredible. Probably not, but do you think you'll need to use these again for any shot in ROTJ (while Luke visits Yoda)?

Well i will be filming a shot for ROTJ:R while i am filming the ESB:R dagobah shots. So, there will be a shot for ROTJ:R completed before ESB:R is completed. But there is only one shot that i would need the trees for so it can all be dismantled once filming has finished

Great handcrafting! I thought on building some scenes from Star Wars for my figures and ships, but one thing is the needed space and on the other hand I would have to practice some technices first, before it could go on display ;-)

Really cool model photos. This project is just beyond words man...can't thank you enough for your dedication.
Those trees will look epic under the proper lighting once every thing is done. Will you be using a fog machine to simulate the Dagobah atmosphere? Or whatever it is fx guys use to create that misty swamp look.
@ Darth Solo - I think I posted that image and some others a while back in this thread. I think I was likely asking about adding in the creatures too or something. In any case - Love those!

I'd expect to see it in ESB before ROTJ. There just isn't enough Dagobah in ROTJ it seems to fit a cameo for the creature. Besides, I'd love to see it in the background somewhere, which I'm assuming is along the lines you have planned for it, Ady? I know you said you weren't adding new sequences to the film.
I love the idea of seeing it at all. It would add SO MUCH to Luke's line "this place gives me the creeps" since Dagobah always only came across as a messy place that's just dark, not creepy.
