In both senses of the term…
And i’m called a troll 😄
Yes, on a website called Original Trilogy, someone that doesn’t like the PT as much as a harmless TV special based on the OT is automatically a troll.
.
You’re all so serious, it’s really puzzling…
In both senses of the term…
He’s a supernatural creature of Scandinavian folklore who lives under bridges and harasses billy goats?

Lol no. I’m talking about internet trolls in the early - late 2000’s
- The Empire Strikes Back
- Star Wars (A New Hope)
- Return of the Jedi
You original trilogy fanboys are all the same.
Actually allot of people prefer ANH(star wars) over TESB.

And a lot more prefer ESB over STAR WARS and for good reason. Also, I think Frink was referring to the fact that no PT movies were on the list nor TFA.
It’s so hard to say: ANH is funnier, ESB is deeper, both are epic. 10/10 for each. I tend to rank ESB higher than ANH but I think they in fact share the same gold medal.
edit:
So, I would change my list (may still change since I’m running a marathon while waiting TFA to be officially released on blu ray):
I hate to sound like a reversed Mr. Plinket but the one scene that always bugs the hell out of me is the scene were instead of killing the Wampa and staying in the cave on hoth, Luke runs into the snowstorm like an idiot and almost gets himself killed.
Luke Skywalker is the main character and either Lucas,Kershner or Kasdan(also why does the spell checker put a red bar below Kershner and Kasdan, I even went on the internet to see how their names are spelled and I still get a red bar) made him look stupid.
I guess after the prequels and SE most people are gonna assume that it is Lucas fault.

So, I would change my list (may still change since I’m running a marathon while waiting TFA to be officially released on blu ray):
- ESB & ANH
- ROTJ
- Clone Wars, Volume 1&2 (Tartakovsky)
- ROTS (Hal9000’s)
- TFA
- TPM (Hal9000’s)
- AOTC (Hal9000’s)
- ROTS (theatrical)
- The Clone Wars (my own best of 35 episodes, ending with the final 4-part Ahsoka-centric arc)
- Rebels (my own best of, working progress since the series still airing)
- TPM (theatrical)
- AOTC (theatrical)
It’s crazy how similar your views are to mine especially with the comparison of Hal9000’s edits to the theatricals. I would have just put ROTJ tied with ROTS (Hal9000)
My controversial list:
The way it neatly ties up the whole saga with a little bow just slightly edges it into first place. The final confrontation between Anakin and Obi-Wan is what the whole prequel trilogy has been leading to, and George Lucas did not disappoint, especially when it is finished and Obi-Wan is on the verge of tears. Just a really good, underrated movie. A-
What more is there to say that hasn’t been said already? The pacing is great, the direction is great, the acting is great. A couple of bumps along the way, but as a whole, this movie is really great. A-
Yes, Attack of the Clones, the really bad one, at number three. That’s because of the whole Kamino sideplot, which really just hearkens back to old mystery and detective novels. The whole Kamino plot is just facinating and always keeps my attention. It also helps that it puts my favourite Star Wars character in the spotlight, Obi-Wan. Sure, the romance is very weak and awkward, as are the characters of Anakin and Padme, but the rest of the film more than makes up for this. B+
This movie is pretty good all around, but the laziness of the plot really doesn’t help. A second Death Star, really? The tone of the movie is also all over the place, cutting from dark moments back to lighthearted silly moments with the Ewoks. A good movie, with some major flaws. B
This movie is also a good film, with its major problem being a lack of originality. The idea of Starkiller Base is just really stale, and when it blows up, I didn’t feel anything. The character of Poe is who we’re supposed to root for during those scenes, but he was barely even in the film, so I couldn’t form a connection to him. The characters of Rey and Finn fare much better, and Kylo Ren is a really interesting character, who I can’t wait to see in later episodes. B
I am in the minority here, but I don’t think this movie is all that great. It has some really great moments, sure, but the overall story is very generic and boring. Darth Vader in this film is a generic bad guy, as is Tarkin, and neither of which ever interact with the protagonist, Luke. Ben Kenobi is just made to spout off exposition about the force the whole time, and when he dies, I don’t care. The lightsaber fight between him and Darth is also laughably bad, as not only is it visually boring, but I don’t care about either of the characters. It’s good, but very overrated. B-
This film is not only bad, but is extremely boring as well. All of the characters are boring, and my favourite, Obi-Wan gets nothing to do. Both Anakin and Jar Jar annoy me to hell, and they are the best characters in the movie. The story is also bogged down in politics and trade debates, which is not what a Star Wars film should be. C-

We’ll disagree with each other but it never turns nasty, we just have reasonable arguments with actual points included.

Tolerating? I tolerate the PT. This is lunacy.

I would have to disagree with your list in many ways including A New Hope ranked the second worst. What a travesty. But everyone has their opinions despite how rare they be.

We should all definitely keep quoting it…
Seriously, where did all the PT fans come from? I thought they had been wiped out by Plinkett.
Not enough people read the EU.
Just like the Jedi they will never by eradicated from the face of the internet.
PT fans are not extinct, and they’ve actually somewhat increased in number since TFA.
Right before TFA came out, parts of the internet were filled with pre-teens/young teens who either hadn’t seen SW before or just hadn’t in many years and watched them all before the next movie.
Before long, all of them became fans of all of the movies, PT included, and they started making posts on Tumblr and other places about “shipping” characters (mostly PT for some reason).
It’s a bizzare thing. I expected TFA to bring new OT fans, but didn’t expect new PT fans to spring up with them.
.
It should be compulsory for people to watch the Plinkett reviews after watching the prequels.
Not enough people read the EU.
But why are the prequels so much worse? I think they’re more or less on par.
Hey Mickey you’re so fine
Well Mad Mick, the PT is inferior because of reasons that include but are not limited to:
•Poor scripts
•Bad special effects
•Characters that are either bland or flat out unlikable
•Boring stories of political arguments that only occasionally result in brief moments of titular Star Wars
.
