Have you played a long video game? If not then you wouldn’t know.

I’ve played every video game.

Including the ET game for Atari that got buried underground for 30 years? Surely that is better than films and books, right?

I haven’t just played it, I used to own it!

(well I guess technically my parents owned it)

Wasn’t aware the picture said every video game is better than films and books

I’ve played every video game.

For some reason I actually believe you.

Why?

Because you’re clearly ancient. How else could you have such an expansive repository of knowledge?

So then what is it saying?

That video games (at least those with a lot of content) have more contained within them than books and film combine.

That makes zero sense.

Sometimes, you’ll find more content in certain games than you would from reading a book and watching a movie.

Keep Circulating the Tapes.

I’m sure you could find an example, but in general, it makes no sense. Books are by nature more content rich, unless it’s a shitty book.

Actually you can find many many examples. And the picture does make sense given that they’re obviously talking about games with The Witcher and The Elder Scrolls series which takes hundreds of hours to fully complete.

Exactly. Of course a game like Elevator Action isn’t going to provide much content, but playing through a game like Baldur’s Gate or Oblivion or something is gonna be a very content-rich experience.

The Elder Scrolls actually has an extremely complex lore, too. It covers everything, even the metaphysical shit that I can’t understand.

I’ll have to take your word on that.

Yeah there are some games that just have so fucking much packed in (actually a reason I can’t really get into them, oddly enough), so the image makes sense. It doesn’t say anything about quality, just quantity.
