I’ve played several games with better stories, characters and action than most movies offer. A book gives such a different experience from anything else though. I dunno if I can make that comparison.

Exactly. Of course a game like Elevator Action isn’t going to provide much content, but playing through a game like Baldur’s Gate or Oblivion or something is gonna be a very content-rich experience.

Yeah there are some games that just have so fucking much packed in (actually a reason I can’t really get into them, oddly enough), so the image makes sense. It doesn’t say anything about quality, just quantity.
