you mean, by thanking him for the excellent job done on the

THX releases of the OT?

or do you mean the excellent job on the DEFINITIVE BOXSET in CAV

on laserdisc?

or the excellent job with the japanese laserdisc boxsets?

or the excellent job with FACES release of the THX versions on Laserdisc?

or the excellent job on the FULLSCREEN versions of the Laserdisc?

you mean, by providing fans with the excellent, crystal clear, and great

soundtracks and remastering done on the Laserdiscs so that consumers

can buy it cheaply ?

and also releasing in pysical digital formats that will never die out, never get corrupted,

and remain in good preservation quality so that the rest of us can easily

archive it forever?  that's pretty good planning ...

and to make it easily available to buy now that we have online stores,

ebay, and everything else..... it does make me happy..

you mean, by creating the OT so that we would actually be here talking about it?

you mean , by allowing the films to be sold, so that we can actually get them,

and preserve them? [8mm, 16mm, 35mm]

you mean, by not closing down all the great fanedits out there?

you mean by releasing it on DVD, after all that time?

by creating and allowing a universe of the OT to be explored in books, videogames,

comic books, more theatrical releases, audiobooks, and all other kinds of merchandise..

hmmmm................... wow, there's so much more, i don't think i have space

to list all of them...

If only this thread *were* the only place where people would bash Lucas endlessly.

I must admit; I get really sick of hearing things like Luca$h, Luca$$, Puke-ass, "Lucas sucks", "raped my childhood", etc., ad nauseum.

For god's sake Skyjedi, Janskeet, and a few others... I love you guys, and feel your pain too, but seriously: give it a rest on the main threads.  It would be 1000x more awesome if you could keep it constructive, or just limit your bashing to one thread like this one.

Well your right on the mark there.  Indiana Jones IV was nothing but a turkey with lots of cgi gravy.

Somebody said he has not made a good movie since the Last Crusade, and i Agree totally.

Revenge and Jones 4 might be the best of the turkeys but they are still turkeys.

I could never sit through watching the prequels or the 2004 special editions again because they are just so awfully bad.  I'll give Indy 4 its single view on dvd since i already saw it in theaters, and probably throw the dvd in the trash, sell it or give it away.
