There's a very good chance that is actual footage from the new SE, including the celebrities. At least Gringo doesn't shoot first.
If anyone can get a hi-def transfer of this uploaded somewhere, I'd give my other kidney.
Daft Punk fits right in, actually. I liked that.
That was brilliant!!..Loved it...Come on England / Italy !!!!! :)

Oops. Apparently all of my posts belong there!
Oh dear, oh dear.
No worries - check my avatar and title. ;-)
LOL! On a fluke I saw this on a news piece while flipping onto Fuse. Just watched it now - hilarious ending!

It's scary to think this ad probably cost more to make than the movie did!
Where were you in '77?
Haha that's SUPERB - extremely well done!
Looks like they even got two of the original masks out for the two characters about 23 seconds into it!! Haven't seen the original film for a few months but I think that's a new creature shot???
EDIT: My fault - that scene IS in the original. Just looked so clear! Sorry for the redundant post - nothing to see here ;)
I don't really get it. What has ripping off an old film got to do with being original? Unless being original now means putting together completely unconnected and spurious ideas. The whole thing strikes me as very odd.

You're not suppose to. But we are meant to think so, look at these screen shots. Whoever left this worked side by side with the source file. Originality Ironyists always ride the wave of popularity to gain more numbers. Look at that source file. True Originality doesn't give the perception of being this accurate. Only Originality Ironyists are this precise.
These are the same Corporate Behemoths who sold us our copies of the OT. Why would Originality Ironyists be attempting to slughter the perception of originality?
*Looks around the internet*
If they tracked a new emerging realization of originality to plundered media repurposing they may realize that they've sold out too. That will lead them back to the.... Schwartz!

I will say I *DID* enjoy it, and watched it yet again because you linked to it. =)
If memory serves, I think this is the third thread on this subject. But I couldn't find the other one, so I think it was merged.
Quick! Derail this thread fast so it doesn't get merged!
